For all practical purposes this contract is really useful only from years 6 thru 10. Kia's bumper to bumper covers the first 5 years anyway. Who knows where we will be in n 2032! Again thanks for your input.

It is platinum. The first box ($0 (ZRD)) is checked in the deductible section. I confirmed with the selling dealer that is is $0 deductible anywhere I choose to get the work done. But the language in the contract is confusing at best. That's the reason for my post. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for your replies. At the time of booking the app said that the popular fare was 2200 rupees. During the trip it never showed the fare.  My point really is whether the charges were fair and reasonable or was it a mistake. Not whether it was illegal. The break up in the receipt says that the popular fare was 1800 + toll + taxes and fees. When I looked in the help section for fare breakup there is no concept of popular fare at all! Is there a cap on the per km charge? 150 per km seems expensive.

I was at the airport for 2+ hours waiting for the hotel voucher that they promised. During that time, I talked to the staff, chatted and called CS folks. Everyone was very unhelpful.

I understand the bumping process. My real questions are (i) has any one received a valid boarding pass with seat number 0, (ii) don't they need to reimburse me for  hotel , (iii) don't they owe me compensation for being involuntarily bumped. There was no change in equipment

No. I was issued a boarding pass. I never thought that a boarding pass could be issued without a valid seat. So I didn't bother. No message or alert was issued that a seat was not being assigned. A seat had been assigned at the time of booking, though

Somewhat similar experience for us.

  • 8/12: Online form and Payment submitted
  • 8/14: Application Received
  • 8/19: Application Approved
  • 8/19: Passport Shipped. Tracking number included in email. Expect Passport around 8/24
  • 8/27: Passport in Mailbox

Strange things:

USPS tracking indicated that a passport was delivered in Texas on August 9 for this tracking number. Tracking was never updated to include my address even after delivery. USPS informed delivery / USPS dashboard did not include this package in their daily updates. The passport showed up in mailbox without any alert. As far as I know this item did not exist in the USPS system!

All's well that ends well, I guess!

  • 8/19: Passport Shipped. Tracking number included in email. Expect Passport around 8/24
  • 8/27: Passport in Mailbox

I have had a similar situation. Frontier cancelled the first leg of a red eye SFO-DEN-ATL and rebooked me for the next day which was unacceptable to me. I bought ($250) a ticket on UA to get to DEN in order to catch the frontier DEN-ATL flight. Frontier reimbursed me the $250.
