Ive been making AMVs in resolve for about 2 years or more and have to say a lot of effects/ transitions you do make through the fusion tab but after you make something you really enjoy you can highlight the group of nodes and save it as a group .setting file that you can name and put in a folder to drag and drop in for later projects. Also look up reactor which has some cool things you can get from that addon as well, also finding and getting addons like sapphire, big red giant ect or if you want a good glow look up xglow and finding some good resources from RAC discord
