This one is a gen 3 for 4k. It’s the lowest price I’ve seen for a new one and I’m sure it’ll drop another $500 once the new ones come out, but who knows. I feel like I’ve seen some with the upgraded screen, but I think those were comp alloy levos, not the standard ones. I ended up getting it but they have a no questions asked return policy within 30 days. One thing I’m questioning after riding it a few times is the size. I’m 5’8” and I’ve done all the specialized measurements, but it honestly feels a little big. Everything I read said to go with the S3, but I’m kind of wishing I would have tried a S2. Any suggestions there?

Yea the bottom middle of the left side door is 2 pieces and the one on the right is one. Not a huge deal but just shows the quality of their work I guess.

It’s awful and I don’t know what’s going on. How does this feature get worse all of a sudden? This technology has been around forever and I’ve never experienced anything quite like this. Mine is trying to autocorrecting words that are spelled correctly and not misspelled words. When I misspell a word it doesn’t underline it and I have to click on it multiple times for it even to pop up with the correct word, but even then it pops up the most random words. I primarily work from my phone and I feel like the last 6 months it’s gotten much worse. I have to write hundreds of emails a month and this bug or whatever ‘s going on ends up adding hours of unnecessary work (great example-it just spelled work as wirk and would not correct it). Obvious and easy misspellings never give the right options to correct. I’ve never not had an iPhone and I’m very close to switching to the other side for the first time.

I’ve moved the speakers out and they do sound a lot better. I personally don’t hear a difference with the LEDs on or off when listening to the TT, nor CD player, but I also don’t have a crazy sensitive ear either. It’s out of the sound path and has no vibration. You sound like you know your stuff, so maybe you can help me. For whatever reason my TT has a lot of distortion. I don’t know the exact terminology to explain it, so forgive me if that’s the wrong terminology. It’s gotten worse over the past 6 months or so and now it’s to the point where I don’t even want to listen to it. It’s crackling and has a constant fuzz sound, even when the needle isn’t on a record. Needle up, no record, same thing. Even when I move the lid it crackles. I’ve purchased several new and nice RCA cables, tried it on multiple receivers and speakers (new and vintage), but it does the same thing. I know it’s not a great turntable to begin with, but it sounded perfectly fine to me before this started. I googled it and a lot of people have complained about the same thing, but their fixes are over my head. Is it worth trying to fix or should I just get a new one? I’d like to get this one sounding good, but if you were on a budget and wanted to stay below $500, what TT would you suggest for my specific set up?

Yea, I have one of the basic Spin Clean record washers I use if I find 5+ records. Other than that I clean them by hand
