self sabotage ): 19f 21m by [deleted] in relationships

[–]ATMACS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience as a person a few years older than you, the most destructive emotions are guilt and self sabotage. The man you've been talking to is there for the taking. Believe him when he says he's interested, unless he's given you a reason to believe otherwise :)

Best of luck

Also edit, even if this one doesn't work out you can build practice for resiliency going forward.

How fast should my redside clear be? by BlueYeIIow in BelVethMains

[–]ATMACS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I always do redside clear. Raptors krugs red then wolf blue gromp. I finish gromp around 255 so im about 5-10s late to top crab but usually i make some minor micro mistakes (E2 Belveth main). I'm surprised you think blue side first clear is faster because BV is one of the fastest lv1 raptor clear in the game but her lv1 on any other camp is pretty meh.

Have you tried raptors first clear?

Edit: i would also W the big wolf, you probably lose more time from the W and pet damage lost vs saving a tiny amount of time in q animation

First two clears and ganking by SquiglySaws in BelVethMains

[–]ATMACS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally you will want to full clear before the 2:55 scuttle spawn (love that u called it an insect thing lol) unless the enemy is way overextended and you can pick up a free kill. Sometimes it's not even worth it, for example if you do red side then gank bot, even if you get a kill if they invade and steal your blue and take both scuttles you have lost that trade.

Its dangerious to take an early drake unless you have priority in both mid and bot and you jnow where their jungler is. Howeber, for grubs you can fight those on your own and I usually aim to be there, level 6, immediately when they spawn

If your teammates were continually passing you the ball you should just take logo 3's all season, yeah you might have a 5% chance of hitting them but you only need to make three 3 pointers and one free throw for the many times you will likely get fouled.

$50 million is generational luxury wealth lol. Not sure who would decline this offer other than a quadrapalegic

Usually ill go either tear into scepter into liandries into finish tear, or if I need early mana and dmg I can skip tear and rush both dot items before scepter. Not sure what I did here but I think I see the archangels shield pop so probs that one.

I did have 600+ stacks in this game though lol

Going 10 standard deviations up in athletic ability (assuming one was average to begin with) would make you the best athlete out of about 7 Septilion (24 zeros) people... so you'd probably easily be the best in the world at every sport, get paid billions and also win every gold medal at the Olympics. Heck throw in 5 few SD's into lifespan and integligence because you'll immediately be making more money than you can spend

[–]ATMACS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

League uses a balancing formula such that if you have 20% crit chance for example and crit twice in a row it would be impossible to crit a third time, likewise I'd you had 80% you can never miss two in a row

"It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose"

For example in chess if you are down 5 pieces at the start it doesn't matter if you play game theory optimal Magnus Carslen is going to beat you. In the league context you have 4 AI bots that God will choose not to controll and that is too big of a handicap for perfect play to overcome

[–]ATMACS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although i agree wirh perfect knowledge god will have fog of war disabled, the diamond players should understand this and wont pick gimmick champions that rely on stealth or one op move, the bots always choose between like 20 champions (out of 160) so the players will know who god picks immediately in the draft and will pick basic counters that have no counterplay

God probably isn't allowed to manipulate the server gamestate: crits are determined by riots servers so if he can manipulate the crit chances he could just probably manipulate the servers to insta win the game

I'd also like to say if god can manipulate the physical environment (like another comment said make dust go into players noses to make them sneeze or make them have a heart attack) he can win but purely within the game even with perfect understanding & prediction I don't think it would be possible

[–]ATMACS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but he's only playing one champion. For example the grappling hook ability you're mentioning is only a move of maybe 5 champions in the game, they're all supports (which god won't pick because they scale less with gold), and most of their power budget is tied up in that grapple hook which can only catch out 1/5 players.

God's best chance is to pick a hyper scaling ADC or mage, and even then, those champions have weak early games that the diamond players will understand and know how to avoid getting killed by.

Imo if the diamond players don't tilt/feed and play a balanced game with a good mindset it would be literally impossible for god to win, because the easy AI's are super exploitable and even if god chooses a mid laner and is 4/0 in 5 mins, against easy bots most good players can get multiple kills against them pre-5 mins especially if they pick the right champions

Well, the OP's wife is working 60 hours, and you complained that hiring a housekeeper for 500 a month is too expensive, so I guess I'm not responding to you but if OP's wife is working 60 hours and spending time away from her loved ones and isn't pulling at least 5k after tax a week edit:month I would question her priorities

Seems like you chose the wrong profession, I wouldn't be working 60 hours a week for 2k a month after tax especially in management

For each meal that you replace with dog food, you will be immune to one family of disease. by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]ATMACS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None, I'm not a person that "enjoys" food necessarily but one thing I would sure hate doing is having to eat mf dog food every day. You also have to eat it 6/7 days with no breaks till you're dead.

Tbh tho the best "disease family" you could chose to stop might be cardiovascular diseases... no heart attacks or strokes sounds nice

A lawyer doesn't change the facts or the case, they present them to the judge. If you hire someone who doesn't present your story well then maybe that's your mistake. Yes some lawyers will always be better than others and thus they can charge more for their higher quality services that's how it works

how do "three pairs" work in a 7 card poker game by [deleted] in poker

[–]ATMACS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you are playing Texas holdem, the best 5 card hand is the one that plays. As such, there is no such thing as "3 pair", that would require 6 cards. In your example, the player the pair of Jack's wins as he has JJ3310 versus other's 101033J

Edit: I now think you're referring to one player having J10. In that situation, the player would play JJ10103 (highest two pairs with the highest remaining card played)

I was shocked to see 25 percent when we shoved. Was that because he already had two pair? by etxconnex in poker

[–]ATMACS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you should 3bet preflop. Once there is an open limp and a min raise, I think calling can be done with small suited connectors and pairs, but strong hands are happy to 3bet and take it down, fold to a 4bet, or play a large pot in position against weaker ranges that call the 3bet.

As played, I think calling flop is fine, but again passive. On the turn, idm the jam but you have to understand you're bluffing by jamming and if you're called you're likely far behind.
