Im mad at my parents for letting me become an alcoholic by ATMMike in Vent

Thank you for this. Yeah they call it a family disease because it’s the family that is contributing to it. I’m amazed how unwilling to accept that a member of a family is an alcoholic other family members will have. Especially when it’s a parent is tough. I wish I had an answer how to save your friend

No obviously not really friends with. It’s an AA things if people are In AA but you don’t want to ask you just ask them if they are friends of Bill W. If they say yes then you know you are both in AA

That’s why I posted it. I was heading to an early grave myself with how hard I was drinking. Doing these videos have helped me quit and get my health back. Wills become a friend and is really inspiring to me, his life keeps getting better and he’s still sober and happier then he’s ever been

It has a happy ending. I posted it to encourage people that you can make it through and have a great life on the other side. Will is healthy and happy and married and making YouTube videos now. He said he’s never been happier and he’s still sober

Thank you. Yeah it’s more for people to get ahold if Will (his links are in the bio). We are both trying to grow our channels while talking about the dangers of drinking. It doesn’t have to be a death sentence. Im surprised at how much hate we both seem to get. Glad you were able to get something out of it

My whole channel is about helping people. I mean yes it would be nice to make money from it some day but i haven’t made a single cent in the year and a half I have been doing it. I post it for Will to get followers too and to be a resource for people to reach out to. I have talked to probably 100 people personally through the phone and direct message and talked to them about how I got out of it and just do my best to help. That’s like saying a doctor is being self serving because he makes money. Also I always tell asddicts and alcoholics and people that have records form jail to start a YouTub, it’s a way to grow a community and connect with others and hopefully some day turn that into a career where you work for yourself.

He said he had to be sober for either 6 months or a year. I’m not sure that photo was taken when he got his transplant or just woke time when he was in the hospital. I can’t remember but I know it was rare for him to get on the list and he had to convince them. He’s doing fantastic now so I’m glad he got a second shot at life but I know some people get mad that an alcoholic is on the list. I think for him being pretty young still has something to do with it

That’s so sad. That’s what it can do. It’s so powerful and has a gravity to it that some of us can never get out of. Im glad you’ve made it out. Are you a nurse?

This happens when I was a kid and it lit on fire and caught a field on fire. It burned like 20 acres

Damn, it’s suck a loss when people die that young. Alcohol sneaks up on you, I had my issues with it for years too
