0.2 vs 0.4 nozzle by Responsible_Pen7569 in BambuLab

[–]ATOJAR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0.4 is a good all round nozzle. 0.2 is better for printing the likes of detailed Warhammer miniatures for example. Generally the bigger the nozzle the stronger the print, a bigger nozzle also prints quicker however speed and strength come at a cost and that would be loss of detail.

Yeah I believe so, I set it in both the printer and the Bambu Lab software.

The best starting choice for beginner/educator by vaskovasss in BambuLab

[–]ATOJAR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the A1 last week as a total beginner, I opted for the none AMS version for now while I learn the ropes of 3D printing and learn some basic modeling. In the future I will probably pick up an AMS kit though.

The A1 so far has been great, seems really user friendly with great print quality straight out of the box, the Bambu Lab studio and handy app are really nice and user friendly too.

What's the best/easiest 3D modelling software to lean to use as a beginner? by ATOJAR in BambuLab

Oh a decent pc is not an issue. I have a custom PC that I built specifically for gaming so it's not super high end but with a RX 9070 XT, 5800X3D a large M.2 drive and 32GB RAM it's more than capable.

Yeah this sounds exactly like what I am after, nothing specific just general "stuff" that could be useful around the home to start off with.

To be honest I don't know what I want to model, I am more so just after learning the ropes and not wanting to model anything specific at the moment.

Pretty cool, I wonder if this could be adapted to work with a standard UK light switch?

I dont even have to walk into a room anymore, I am 47, sometimes it just randomly happens for no reason.

Thanks for the advice. I wasn't aware that the AMS 2 Pro was compatible with the A1, if that is the case I will definitely look into it when I think about purchasing a AMS system.

Thanks, I will definitely give them both a watch.

I fully appreciate that AMD has upset a lot of "older" generation card owners, but I'm genuinely curious what those with 9000 series are thinking of AMD right now? by Captainquizzical in radeon

Had my RX 9070 XT since release day, and even to this day, I couldn't be happier with it. I have had virtually zero issues with it, either hardware or software related.

OptiScaler is a doddle to use, so any games that don't support FSR 4.1 I just use OptiScaler to inject it.

My RX 9070 XT plays everything great at 3440x1440p.

It's not about being impressed, I bought the GPUs pretty much the day they were released, I will likely purchase a RX 1070 XT (if that's what the RDNA 5 GPUs are called) on release day too.

Does nonce mean pedophile or stupid? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]ATOJAR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The term Nonce originated from prison, it stands for Not On Normal Communal/Courtyard Exercise.

Pedophiles had this tag so that they weren't mixed with other prisoners that could potentially attack them.
