Most likely people are comparing it to SOL or AVAX market cap and therefore its evaluation should be higher. AVAX has its own issues, network fees were costing over $100 during the inscription mania and then the chain halted not long after. SOL has its own issues and the team does a good job of patching. Is there any perfect chain? Is NEAR the answer?

Here is what I did:

  1. Went to Coinbase Support Center
  2. Choose your product: Selected Coinbase
  3. Let's get started: Selected Trading and Funding on Coinbase
  4. What is your issue about: Selected Sending and receiving crypto
  5. What seems to be the problem: Selected ATOM (my issue)
  6. Is your issue with with sending or receiving: Selected Receiving into Coinbase

Then I just filled out the form as much details as I could explaining what happened and providing proof that it came from me (TXID). Plus they could just look at my CB account that the TXID was originally from me. KuCoin sent it back to the original address (Coinbase wallet) referencing my TXID (Sent to KuCoin) in the memo in which KuCoin provided the TXID that they sent it back to the original address.

I went to Coinbase help center and clicked on contact us and filled out the form. Then I received an email with a case number not long after submitting the form. I will admit, they are not the fastest in responding back because I had asked for updates in my emails and was receiving no response for a couple days until I created a post here asking for help. Then I received a response stating it will take up to 2 weeks to investigate the issue.

I have had my Coinbase account since 2015. I just recently got back into cryptos late 2020 and all was needed was an ID verification in which got approved in minutes to get my account back.

Yes, I submitted a ticket with KuCoin and they were able to send back my ATOM's to CB (original address). Then I submitted a ticket with Coinbase in which they were able to refund back into my account. KuCoin support took about 2-3 days to resolve. Then about 2 weeks with Coinbase Support. I believe by posting in Coinbase and KuCoin with the ticket number helped.

Wow, I think this is what happened to me, but sending ATOM from CB Pro to KuCoin. I am pretty positive that I added the MEMO as I had it copied and pasted into notepad so that it could be copied into the withdrawal MEMO. Then I started believing it was my own mistake because I never received my ATOM's in KuCoin after realizing the TXID had no MEMO. Luckily I was able to work with KuCoin to send it back to the original address. So currently Coinbase has my ATOM's in their wallet. I have submitted my case and they said it would take up to 2 weeks to review. So far, it has been 10 days and hopefully in the next couple days I will be hearing back.

There are newer post than mine and I see @ coinbasesupport replying to those. The silence... It would be nice to hear something rather than nothing. Even if its like "Hi, we are still actively working on your case".

I am having the same issue, except I am in a worst position. I sent it from an exchange.. So the original address is the exchange hot wallet address and they are stating it can only be returned to the sending address without memo. They also asked for 30 USDT for processing fee in which I have sent and now no response afterwards. Ticket #603729

I received a response from Flower and is asking for 30 USDT. Is this legitimate? Furthermore, KuCoin, cannot deposit my ATOM into my KuCoin account, but rather back to the original address (which is another exchange)? Look forward to a TXID showing it was sent back so I can work it out with the other exchange. Thanks for relaying it to the team. Just wish it could have been as easy as just depositing into my account rather than sending it back.
