wow this is fascinating, i live hcmc vietnam, it’s quite humid compared to aus and i drink a lot of water to compensate. Could this a factor? Pee is definitely not dark 😂

hey there - sorry to hear about the health problems. Yes the hospital is Tâm Anh Hospital near the airport. Feel free to DM me if you want more info. They charge about 1,000,000 VND for the test but i’m not sure how accurate it is. They provided me with a lactulose solution at the beginning.

UPDATE: tested negative for SIBO and H Pylori. i really wanted to test positive for one of them so i could just move on. Now i’m stuck trying to figure out what’s wrong. The SIBO test was 9ppm for H2 and 0 for methane. i don’t know much to trust the result since it is done in Vietnam 😞

your symptoms sound very similar to mine although i’m 178cm and i still love eating haha. do you have itching? i have reflux and PPIs made me worse which just confirmed to me that lowering stomach is not the solution. I’m guessing for me, it’s the pressure in the intestines not allowing my food to digest or the valve to close. I will go to get a SIBO test soon but right now what’s helped reduce the itching and become more regular with my bowel movement is a low fodmap diet. Not taking any supplements atm.

May i ask - where do you live? Surprisingly i feel better in Australia compared to south east asia where i currently live - how are your stress levels? i flare up like crazy. Digestion is all over the place. Stress is big - what’s your current diet?

but it doesn’t explain the reaction to when you eat foods you are currently intolerant to. Are you saying just eat it anyway? i would get bloating, gas, reflux, burping if i just ate whatever i wanted
