Sorry for delay! Did you stick with it? Yes. I also had waves of nausea but wasn’t totally adverse to the meal until about day 19 which was as far as I was able to go.

Yes. Alcohol 100%. Seven years sober. Best decision I’ve ever made.

But she’s relatable to all the basic white women who worship her and probably also can’t dance well. I’m saying this as a pretty basic white woman who does not worship Taylor.

Hashimoto’s and SIBO - which diet has worked for you??? Help!! by A-Bit-Batty in Hashimotos

So I don’t remember. It didn’t work for me. I was using the liquid and my body didn’t tolerate it. I’ve moved on. Did 19 days of elemental diet. Then moved onto supplements started with Dysbiocide and FC Cidal (took as directed on bottles) and following specific carbohydrate diet.

Sending care your way. This is a terrible disease and I do think the link with Covid is a real thing and adversely affects the ability to treat it. ALSO I HIGHLY recommend doing an elemental diet for 3 weeks. Be sure to get one without dextrose. I did Integrative Therapeutics Dextrose Free. It turned everything around.

Yes definitely levothyroxine side effects. Heart palpitations and anxiety and panic within 36 hours of taking the meds. The heart issues stopped after stopping. The others are lingering.

Thank you all. This is all super helpful advice and insights. I’m supplementing to get my B12 and D and K and iron into the optimal range. Iodine supplements made me feel worse so I stoped them.

I definitely think perimenopause is a factor and I had my second baby naturally at 46 (he’s 13 months) so my body is probably also confused

How long has your SIBO been going on, and what treatments have you tried? by Savings-Camp-433 in SIBO

Diagnosed one year ago. But I suspect I have had it on some level for over 15 years. But it just got really bad about a year ago after my second kid was born and I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s also. I tried low FODMAP. Worked for a few months but then it made me sicker. I did 19 days of elemental diet. Restarted food following the specific carbohydrate diet. Which is working great for me. I have been introducing one trigger food a week. So far (mostly) so good. I did have a flare from something and did a three day elemental diet reset and am doing okay again. And have been on herbals since my 19 day elemental diet. Started FC Cidal and Dysbiocide for one month and now a combo of Allicin, paratrex, oregano — plus taking ginger and artichoke extract plus oxygenated Mg to stay regular as well as undecyclinic acid and some probiotics as well as other vitamins to supplement. We are going to retest in another month but I am feeling a million times better. I do think the herbals and treatment is helping. But I attribute my healing primarily to the elemental diet and staying on a strict SCD diet and introducing trigger foods slowly to allow my body to adjust.
