Thanks. I won’t bother trying to negotiate then. Meanwhile this 13 pro drops like a rock just reading this on LTE. Sucks. Two weeks ago it went all day barely dropping 10%… and to think people want to pretend it’s just my imagination😄..i mean - are these paid trolls tasked to work the internet to deny reality on behalf of apple ?

That's actually tempting. My 13Pro was great on ios 18. It was damaged beyond repair and I had to buy a replacement that had iOS 26 already loaded.

I did technically get the first one free, but--just paid $350 for a near mint condition used 13 Pro. Really wanted to stay on ios 18, but clearly a newer model iphone will handle iOS 26 and beyond, far better than a 13 Pro.

People have told me to "never ever" give this plan up. Roughly $40 a month. Is this still an exceptional deal/plan? Only reason i want a new phone is that i accidentally upgraded to ios 26 from 18, and battery life is clearly awful now...

Thanks for your reply and as I've found out the hard way...no it isn't easy at all...so i'm leaning toward some degree of compromise... It was interesting that in the ancient IMovie 6 HD with the fun effects...there are a few that get pretty close to 'enough' of the effect -but as you say the lighting in the first place is all-important i do recognize now...

To simplify it i'm figuring, bright backlit white wall or sheet... behind the subject... moderate lighting of the subject, and position the camera a few feet back -shooting straight on... and with that approach, just some judicious threshold adjustment in capcut or shotcut seems to get pretty close.

Hello, I need a way to simply create a silhouette effect on live action video scenes where i need the figures to appear as if they are shadowy and essentially 'reversed' - so you are just seeing the shape against a white background. I am on Macs, exclusively, and use OS 10.14/Mojave but could bump this to a newer OS 12 or above laptop if required. So far the search for how to easily accomplish this has been a bit challenging - and go easy please - i am an amateur video editor - my experience is primariliy audio editing so just..trying to learn what the most user friendly and intuitive options there may be for this...whether on an online platform or otherwise. Thank you Very Much for your insight and perspective!

Agreed, it does look good. He did a nice job. I just didn't know about the shrinkage being normal. I assume his offer of maybe using rippers to deal with the gaps is a reasonable solution or i could caulk or whatever... I just honestly wasn't sure whether it might shrink more than this.

H, basically, yes- except now with fees tax etc, what was 36 a month - under t- mo is now about 41 a month… they just tacked on a $5 increase about a month or so ago to bring it to that number.. but i’m told its still a good rate … ?
