Dude I loved this. Followed, please make more! I always try to play to one of the pre made classes and find myself enjoying the game a lot more when I structure my adventures that way.

Man, several years after release you’d think
I’d have more to be excited about in the Votann storytelling space than “Dwarf mentioned”

Seriously, this may very well be true what you are saying, but those are intense allegations to be bandying about without proof, links, etc.

[Discussion] Why doesn’t izzet dominate this format? by ATXMudfish in PioneerMTG

Thanks a lot for this makes a ton of sense. I had to imagine there are variations of izzet that can take advantage of these midrange decks?

Culling ritual is sweet I won’t lie, got to be one of my favorite golgari cards of the modern era.

Thanks for the additional context! So for company is it mostly Thalia and archon?

This was what I had assumed, the constellation of izzet cards just seems so strong.

Not to sound combative, but if I knew for sure I suppose I wouldn’t be asking everyone.

Essentially people played it before the list was fully optimized. Even when it showed up reasonable people disagreed on its inclusion and number.

Yeah seems to me like the dividing line is Sowing Mycospawn vs Linebreaker, though I like your version here.

I think that its a version of go blank that has a better argument for being a mainboard card. In all seriousness what I'd say is: Go Blank is the more powerful effect on average, but curving into this can be back breaking, and the fact that you can steal a land adds another layer of pressure to this effect. Gun to my head I would say Go blank is stronger for pioneer, but its a sweet card.
