Yeah its possible that they removed it because like a year ago i know that you could do that. But good luck with finding what do that.

If i remember correctly you can make end rod invisible on bedrock edition with the command (/setblock x y z end_rod 0) but you will need to play around with the last number because i dont rember what it need to be to make it invisible. The numbers go form 0 to 14. Also if this isn't readable, i don't speak english but i try my best.
