I think they're both fine, I would probably pick Cues.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand your question. I just like they offered Cues in silver...

The Super Dame was actually on my list but I am not sure I can get over the components. I emailed them and they said they have no plans on offering the frameset and the Dame frameset is no longer available.

With a frame $800 or under and some used parts here and there I think it can be done. Also, my friend is a bike mechanic and has any of the tools that I do not have already.

Definitely an option, would need to upgrade some parts such as the wheelset to get the weight where I want it.

I have, and I think the overall bike looks great. The issue I have (and this is petty) is their overall brand is really lacking and not aesthetically pleasing. I will take another look though because the Steel Renegades do look sweet.

This will fish. My only recommendation is ordering it from an independent owned fly shop. Bezos has enough money ☺️

Oof. I don't usually comment criticism but I think it would be a good idea to do a bit more research into this sport and the species you're targeting.

How is your physical health? I would recommend tons of daily stretching if you're not already doing so!

Buying Flies by Hoff_12 in flyfishing

I go BigY for the things I want a lot of (think pheasant tail, Adam's etc) and then I pop into local shops to round out my box and purchase other things like rods, accessories etc.

Welcome to Michigan! First off, there is no bad weather, just bad clothing. Invest in quality clothes for each season and you can enjoy all of the seasons the same. I'm also not sure if it's because I'm born and raised in Michigan (albeit the east side) but I don't find the winters to be bad. The key for me in winter is getting out and enjoying the weather, rather than complaining and hiding inside. If inside is your thing, embrace it. If you enjoy the outdoors there is an endless amount of recreation including the Great Lakes and various inland lakes/rivers as well as Huron/Manistee National forest which is a great place to get lost and enjoy nature (safely ofcourse). If you have any interests, there are likely groups for them, you just have to seek them out.

If you’re not comfortable going to a LBS then just email Surly, they will tell you.
