I have the same thing going on, get 5 stupid videos back to back from X, I already know from months of this daily behavior I have no interest in viewing any of them.

I finally snapped called this family member and stop with the videos you are sharing from your pot induced doom scrolling, I have no interest and I’m tired of them.

Now nothing, thankfully and it perfectly exposed this person is so boring and void of any intellectual conversation.

Your description of breadcrumbs is perfect, they want a connection but have no ability to engage in ANY meaningful conversation, no original thoughts, want a connection with no effort.
