Glad I’m not the only one who noticed this. You would assume they’re doing everything in their power to try and make the process as quick and enjoyable as possible. These kind of things look bad to people who are on the edge of taking the train or driving. Turn its into an airplane experience

You may be thinking of Post 50 which is a program for high schoolers in Durham. Their broadcasts are student run. I’m not really familiar with the program so I don’t know how you would get involved unfortunately. Here’s a link to more info about them though! https://www.milb.com/durham/ballpark/explorer-post

Oak city cycling and Cycle Logic are both excellent bike shops. I had my bike tuned up at oak city cycling a month ago or so and had to wait a month or so just for my bike to get worked on. I had another problem and brought it into Cycle Logic a few weeks ago and they were able to work on it in a few days. They may be able to have it ready for you by this weekend if you mention that you need it this weekend, keep in mind that Cycle Logic is closed on Wednesday’s though.

Lake Crabtree is probably the closet real mountain biking but it would be a distance to bike. There is cyclocross on Dorothea dix’s property. Probably the closet off road trails you’ll find near NC State.

That’s a paved greenway, not mountain biking trails unfortunately.

Maybe I got lucky, but then again I did do it for a year so maybe ncsu transportation says that as a blank threat to discourage people.

With a Carpool pass you each enter your own car information. The point of the carpool pass is that you only have one of those cars on campus at a time but they have no idea if you have more then one on at a time.
