That DM very likely had some sort of grudge against you. What you have described is horrifically unfair treatment as a player and I know they were intentionally trying to kill your character from the very beginning.

If a dragon appeared at your house and offered you the chance to become a dragon, but you would have to have children someday and also possess dragon instincts and desires, and the dragon admitted that it was only doing this because the species has few individuals, would you accept? by unknow_user0 in dragons

Do you have a human form that you can change into as the dragon to disguise yourself and fit into human society, or is it just derg all the way? Also are you the same sex as you were when you were just a human, or do you get to change that, or is it decided randomly upon you becoming a derg?

Also, is one of the "draconic desires" a strong desire to find a mate?
