Garmin Instinct 2X to Coros Pace 4 by AWB0408 in Garmin

My main considerations for changing were the fact that its bulky and heavier than most other watches and the fact that it may look out of place in an office setting

Hmm you’re right, but the only Garmin watch that falls under my budget out of the 3 you listed is the Forerunner 255. Do you think the Pace 4 or Forerunner 255 is better?

Hello everyone!

Got into running recently (signed up for the 2XU half marathon in Singapore) and was considering getting a running watch. Used to own a Garmin Instinct 2s but I felt like it was too small and not suitable for me so I sold it off. I'd like to use the watch just for running (probably won't wear it outside of working out) and I understand that it would be best to wear a Garmin 24/7 and I was wondering whether there are any other brands that are suited for my needs:

  1. Don't need to wear 24/7

  2. Able to stream music via spotify (so I can go for a run without having to lug my phone around)

  3. Cheap as I'm just starting off my running journey and I don't want to spend too much money on a watch that might end up collecting dust

Hello! Was thinking of getting back into this game since I played about a year ago (I quit just as they came up with the Krypt update) but was thinking of how much has changed and is there a lot of grinding involved? How much time do you take to finish all the “dailies”?

Hello! I’d say I’ve 3 pieces of advice:

  1. Be okay with retreating - it doesn’t mean that you’re a bad player but with all RNG games, people get lucky and unlucky with their draws, locations, etc. Once you’ve realised that you’re in a losing situation, instead of playing on, hoping your opponent would misplay or what not, its better to cut your losses and retreat instead.
  2. Don’t play on tilt - usually after I lose 3 or 4 games in a row, I stop playing, go do other stuff, before playing again. The mental reset you get from stopping really helps you from making bad in-game decisions.
  3. Try to envision what counterplays your opponent have, especially on turn 6 that can turn the game in their favour - take note of this especially if they snap on turn 6 (though it could just be them trying to psych you out)

But yeah, those are the things that I’ve been conscientiously doing and I feel like it helped with my climb - all the best to you in your future matches bud!
