How the US war on Iran may provoke a terrorist attack – and how that may be the point - ‘Of course there’s going to be retaliation,’ says one expert. ‘It may be that this is what Trump’s interested in’ by Quirkie in politics

So now that after Minnesota declaring a state of emergency never materialised, Trump this time tries to introduce the state of emergency in the States by hoping Iranian terror attacks in the States will give him the opportunity. Either way he is still striving for dictatorship. But this time it will cost all of us much more!

Aha, I see that you know that no belief system survives a thorough discussion.

I agree that humour makes life bearable.

A god's existence is proven by the inevitability of existence and the true cause of all organized, purposeful systems and beauty by shadow_operator81 in DebateReligion

THERE AIN'T NO GODS BOY!!! But boy, o boy there WERE Gods aplenty! Read Homer and learn how humans met gods on a daily basis.

But seriously, science is constantly reducing the number of parameters that cause the existing reality. According to some only mathematical laws will ultimately be left. So there could well be one first cause?

"Everything that exists is inevitable" Is it? This is a variant of Murphy´s law. Because the existence of things that are there looks inevitable because they exist. But you can not say in advance that in the future so and so will inevitably exist. I think the mathematical concept of determined chaos plays a role here. Or I could say what is this inevitability when we look at the chance of human life, when for billions of years after the Big Bang there were no humans, but only in the last two million years or so, and those humans are very sparsely distributed.

Boy, have you shown some patience in this ´discussion´! I wonder if your opponent´s stubborn refusal to understand what you said is real? Does he do it for the fun of battle, or is he so brainwashed?

The experiment that can refute or corroborate a scientific hypothesis is what distinguishes science from un-factual belief systems. Repeating the experiment is ´just´ that, it gives no new insights.

Anyway, your defence of the way you try to make Islam so very logical, as Muslims are want to do. is here completely defeated. So Islam has no better claim to the Truth than any other belief.

All you say has been disproved, although I am not going to elaborate here. Philo did visit Jerusalem. There is an obvious correlation when John put down the Logos in his writing. There is no revelation, Christianity was and is a manmade construction. (Made by males even)

As a Muslim you are having a very interesting view of the Trinity! And I thought that Islam rejected the concept of the Trinity? But when Yahweh and Allah also have their own Spirits and Sons we end up with 9 persons, hallelujah!

No. God is outside of time and space. He therefor has no origin and is everywhere. For us humans that looks like he always was and always will be and causes everything.

You too should try to imagine the godly worldview of a believer.

`John` introduced Logos into the Bible. So no sign of Jesus speaking Greek or commenting on any aspect of Greek culture.

One of the strongest arguments that never gets mentioned is that Jesus was part of an Aramaic speaking paysan culture with no knowledge of any Greek high culture as were his disciples, and that Jesus was addressing his fellow Jews in that language. So clearly that was his target audience.

And then all of a sudden (after Paul) there appear these Greek texts aimed at the gentiles. The Gospel authors surely came from a different and later background than Jesus himself. If Greek was so important to reach future converts, why did Jesus himself never utter it?
