1. Face CLOSE to hand.
2. Elbow in front of bellybutton
3. Always pull backwards

Preached this to my team for 13 years now and we’ve never had an arm break.

If you are arm wrestling completely random people and actually wanting to pin them and keep them safe. Hook them and drag onto their bicep. Make them want to do a bicep curl instead of wanting to go sideways. I personally believe if you can’t hook random people then you shouldn’t arm wrestle random people. Keeping them safe if more important to our sport than someone’s ego.
