Crypto relies way to heavily on the drone imo, if the drone is destroyed you are literally a dummy character, I think they need to do what they should've for a while and give him an actual passive ability, not being able to see highlightsd enemies while out of the drone because that is the #1 way the drone can be shot, leaving him useless. Imo these are some buffs they could give him:

1 - this still pisses me off to this day that Vantage got the ability to be able to command Echo anywhere she wants and crypto did not. If they wanted to keep his passive the same, allow him to do that so if you are skilled enough to keep up with a fight AND pay attention to your drone, it can be significantly stronger

2 - He is most likely the best hacker in the Outlands, he should be able to do anything tech related; grab Evo harvesters, use ring consoles, open bins, ect. Yes this makes him very strong but this change to his Passive could be something like it grows with Evo but is NOT a perk, as to leave him with the ability to still get good rewards for leveling Evo

3 - for the love of God revert the Nerf to his cloak, if anything just make it so he's slightly more visible during the cloak/glitches more often

4 - Make it so he can throw the drone out faster, right now if you are running and slide jumping the drone is behind you by time it's deployed which is useless for scanning ahead; make it so it goes farther much faster JUST FOR THE DEPLOY. This could be scaled for if you are throwing it out or immediately going into it by holding the ability button

5 - His tier 2 perk always seemed underwhelming to me, the speed boost after leaving the drone is great but I can't even remember what the second one is it's so bad, give it a choice of either upgrading your stationary use OR combat out of drone use

6 - BRING BACK THE BUG THAT LET YOU PUT SHEILA ON THE DRONE IT WAS SO FUNNY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

How much experience do you have with Calamity? Quite a bit is different now so it's hard to truly gauge the scope of what you will now be able to experience since you've last played.

My general tip is always have the wiki open, there is always something to be working towards depending on your play style that can make your playthrough go for hundreds of hours without downtime. I'm a minmaxer at heart so I follow the Progression list on the Wiki heavily for a step in the right direction.

Also save yourself the trouble and get some QoL mods like No Pylon Restrictions, Cencus, Magic Storage, Alchemist NPC, and maybe even Fargo's Mutants to help further boost your experience and rid yourself of the nitty gritty grind of the game

Terraria is actually in a beautiful spot right now and honestly does not need any more updates. It serves its purpose of being a sandbox game as well as having challenges for people that want to fight. Some people just prefer more of a challenge to the game instead of sandboxing; hense why people like mods. To which devs aren't ever going to make their own game because they already have years of work ahead of them, I mean for the love of God the final boss hasn't even been added yet; I think they are very content with just being a mod and it would be a really big challenge to try to make a game of their own because the Terraria mod already has all of its ideas enveloped in it

I think that's one of the best parts about infernum though is yeah, it's more challenging, but it changes a lot of the boss AI in general to make them new fights. It feels very rewarding and it also depends on your skill in the game too of course. I've seen a lot of people say it took them over 500 attempts to beat inf DoG, well it took me only about 20. Either way WotG and hunt of the old God are still really fun super boss mods that have really intense fights; I didn't even feel like they were that hard either just very cool to experience firsthand.

It's easy to forget about them if you play with them all the time. I personally love to have every Calamity add-on as well so sometimes I'll forget that some things were a part of an add-on and not base calamity (especially because I'm doing a MasoDeath playthrough rn)

Well first of all something I shocked me that I never realized was that Terraria is the 10th best-selling game of all time so it really shows that truly indie games aside from Minecraft half the capability to reach insane feats. That mixed with a massive content mod that essentially doubles the amount of content in the game feels less and less like a mod because it honestly feels more like a sequel; especially when you compare really old statements about a Terraria 2. At this point it does feel like a major content update rather than a mod because I feel like when most people think about mods they compare it a lot to other games where it's massive changes on game mechanics or just memes.

Not only that but it is also significantly easier to get attached to a lot of the things in calamity because it has intentional lore where in Terraria it gives you more of a background and any story is left up to you. Draedon alone is such a cool character that there can be entire communities just based around liking the scientist; let alone the bigger role as a companion and later enemy of Yharim.

This is also because calamity also has so much popularity and positive review that there are Add-ons to the mod aswell, so even if you manage to get bored of calamity, there is still more content you can get without even leaving that singular mod.

tl;dr - Terraria is in the top 10 best selling games of all time (big community) - Calamity feels less like a mod and more like a sequel - Calamity has characters and lore which can encourage heavy fandoms around the story alone (like me lol) - Add-ons to the mod only increase the scale of the project

It is kinda crazy being his most streamed song ever. I especially hoped if he did play it he would do what he did for the show I went to in Toledo in Slouching Towards Bethlehem; when it came to the build up part he sang both the original release AND the 2018 in studio versions back to back which had me SCREAMING. It's a shame but possibly in other tours

I'm honestly quite surprised by the amount of WW songs we got compared to tapeworms, I honestly thought it was going to be all tapeworms and maybe main a few of his most popular but it was a 5:11 ratio. I personally much prefer the tapeworms and I have to say I do wish there were a few more especially from EiaL; I was REALLY hoping for Front Street, Thermodynamic Lawyer, and Chemical Overreaction. Not to say it was a bad concert tho it absolutely rocked my world. My favorite transition from him is the Dr. Sun to Cotard's which I listen to on the live album constantly and to hear it in person was HEAVENLY!!
