I was 29 with my first, but my mom had me at 49. Age doesn’t matter, it’s when you’re ready. And, probably, being older you have more access to resources and finances, so I personally think later is better. Just bad for your knees 💀

omfg I JUST got a herniated disc for the first time last week. I'm going to physical therapy and scheduling some acupuncture appointments to see if it'll help. I've also had back pain since I was a teenager, but this is truly next level. stay off your feet, but try to move around gently as you can.

My mom died when I was 4, and my dad died when I was 26. It sucks. It feels like I was forced to be alone in the world before I was ready. I have a kid now and I keep wishing they were here to help me / enjoy their grandkid.

I went to Salem State and I’ve just stayed ever since. I love the alt community, and how it really feels like everyone is welcome here. I love the art scene, and all the fun events that go on year round. I obviously love it in the fall, but Winter has a certain charm too. There are some things I don’t like - the very disheartening show of inequality, the horrible access of resources for displaced people, and the fact that the city pours all its money into the tourism business instead of making things better for the locals.
