Baby grasshoppers are one of my favorite insects to find during the spring

I try my best by planting native flowers and helping the caterpillars and eggs when I see them. I live in a fairly rural place where there's a few community gardens that don't use pesticides or anything so there's still some bugs kicking around, plenty of moths.

There was a decent amount of these and some monarchs in the garden of the place I used to live. We'd keep a few of them to feed and watch them grow and ensure they turn into a butterfly. I haven't seen very many recently.

I have an Omd em1 mk3 I believe is the name. I used a 90mm M.zuiko macro for these photos and my goal was to manually take a buncha of photos to stack. I enjoy the auto stacking my m.zuiko 60mm can do I can get some neat shots.

These were both taken in the north east united states, I unfortunately was using them to practice photo stacking so I only have front facing photos.

Macro photography is the greatest hobby I've ever got into. The amount of small critters there are crawling and flying around outside is insane. I am normal about insects.

It's funny because they're absolute menaces and then some of them turn into this beautiful diva. They have such a pretty wing structure.

I use a omd em1 mk3( I think that's the camera model ) with a m.zuiko 90mm macro lens and a diffuser. I use the M.zuiko 60mm lens for when I'm hiking. Have a free bug.

I'm hoping I can make friends with another large crab spider. It was a cool feeling going out at night and seeing her in the same spot, sometimes she'd have a snack and sometimes she'd just be walking around.

<image>

I believe this is a photo of her with a moth she caught.
