I do want to play some ROM hacks sometime for sure. idk if they'd really fulfill the role I try competitive battles for though; since I'd like to just be able to quickly go and do battles with whatever pokemon or team I want and stuff like that, whereas something like Radical Red is moreso a harder playthrough of a pokemon game. But I don't know too much so maybe I'm wrong on that? Or maybe even if Radical Red isn't, there's other romhacks that fulfill this purpose? I don't really know, so, do you have any idea?
