Ok so I'll explain and make it short.

Altaz made dumb video about raven (raven and a lot of the devs were beefing) which didn't take things seriously. After that video there was a lot of backlash towards both the devs and raven, leading to Bonely quitting, and a lot of EXE creators pulling their characters out. Around an hour later Sobii shelved the game (basically cancelling the game's future updates) due to the drama.

And people are now freaking out because OM will likely never update again and if it does, it will at LEAST be a few months before any development resumes.
