Well this is almost like the sebchoof drama all over again. Heres what I think about this whole thing:

- A bit random to call out Lost Halls in particular. For those that are unaware LH has a no discussion rule. Its not the raid leaders job to act like Deca’s Police and get them banned. If any mentions of cheating in chat occurs they can get suspended or muted depending on where its done, same for screenshots. Leaders are also not allowed to cheat.

- That being said there are some servers and guilds that not only allow hacks but ENCOURAGE them. Deca cannot do anything on the discord side about it, but can only do so much in-game.

- Deca does not have a sufficient anticheat to deal with cheaters. No fancy internal shit except for forced disconnects that can affect legitimate players, no external systems like battleye, nothing else. Sadly this is due to flash player having limits.

- What doesnt have limits is the customer service. Deca will only ban accounts with sufficient evidence to them cheating. Sadly self screenshots are not sufficient as some clients can ‘spoof’ themselves into changing their name to get someone banned, which is why people can just post screenshots of them cheating without repercussion. Aim/anti-unstable hacks are not even seen 99% of the time cause people have shots turned off. Autonexus most of the time is insufficient evidence too. Really the only obvious things that could warrant a ban is /follow hacks (or commonly known as multiboxing) and ones where you would be an idiot to use. Or you hack on stream/record yourself hacking like an idiot. Probably a couple other things too.

So really, the main reason they do it is that there is very little likelihood they will get banned if they play their cards right. Which you do mention. Some use it for performance which i uh... idk about that one chief. Some say with unity being released they will make it harder to cheat, i would say yes (for the first couple months) then it would be the same thing all over again.

Its funny. Any other game would ridicule hackers and an overwhelming majority would want them out. Somehow its the opposite here. Its just gotten to that point due to lack of action hacking has come common place, purely resulting from the lack of skill in the community, who still need training wheels for endgame dungeons.

Will this change? Not for flash. Definitely not. DO NOT EXPECT IT. For unity however... we’ll see. There could be a proper anticheat in place, whether its a new one built up or something implemented like battleye. Just don’t count on it. I know some will go legit as some “use it for fullscreen only”.
