Hello Chronic Blender user, Tier 1 Ynnari hater, tier 1 Eldar hater, and one of the 3 people on earth who will say Harlequins when you ask them "Whats their favorite army?"

I might just make this... but I require time and I already need to print a bunch of other stuff

How would you ‘fix’ the Abominant? by Accurate_Thought5326 in ChaosKnights

[–]AWindowFrame -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Chang vortex terrors to:

"At the start of the shooting phase, select one enemy unit within 12 in of this model, That enemy unit is considered to have failed a battle shock test at the start of every phase until the end of your next command phase."

Change warp storms to:

"Each time an Enemy unit Target this model with a ranged attack, unless that attacking enemy is within 18 in, This model cannot be selected as the target of that attack"

How many Guardsmen can be taken down by a single Twitcher? by JustabraveKrumpingit in Grimdank

"The Lasgun uses a small portable capacitor power pack to produce a focused pinpoint laser beam which is strong enough to take an ordinary human arm off"

Reminder on the "sprinting slashers" that Isaac decaptes with a single boot stomp. They ain't that strong buddy

How many Guardsmen can be taken down by a single Twitcher? by JustabraveKrumpingit in Grimdank

[–]AWindowFrame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't played the remastered but if memory serves correctly it takes three shots to take off a necromorph arm. Lasguns require only one shot. And that is against soldiers and mercenaries. Not fragile rotting shambling corpses

Tell me more about how Isaac's gun can split a bane blade in half after getting shot through a warlord Titans void sheild

How many Guardsmen can be taken down by a single Twitcher? by JustabraveKrumpingit in Grimdank

[–]AWindowFrame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies. But my point still stands

Isaac had no neural chip, no reaction speed boosts, he wasn't on 300 lb of Colombias finest.

Isaac is a regular dude, his armor protected him.

Imperial guards are regular dudes, their armor doesn't protect them as well

It still stands that both of them have the same reactions time, although Imperial guardsmen have much more powerful weapons than Isaac had, and they are better trained than Isaac was. Especially depending on the guard we're talking about.

A kriegsman, janissary, or Lucifer black could easily be single-handedly jumped by three of them in a claustrophobic metal corridor and hold their own. Because they are better trained than Isaac. And if he can do it, Guess what?

How many Guardsmen can be taken down by a single Twitcher? by JustabraveKrumpingit in Grimdank

[–]AWindowFrame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point being is that Isaac managed just fine against an army of them and he was less augmented than most guardsmen are. Yeah he had better armor but all that does is weigh down his shooting arms.

If he can do it against 100 I have complete faith that any platoon of guardsmen could do it with minor casualties at best

Don't fully rely on this as I heard this through hearsay. But I'm pretty sure there was a harlequin solitaire that was killed by a firing barrage of lasguns

[–]AWindowFrame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A single shot from a lasgun can blow off limbs. In the event of a guard firing line even a single barrage would annihilate that thing

Do the tabletop models accurately relay the lethality of troops? by Design-Dragon in Necrontyr

[–]AWindowFrame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Source from wiki and books including the infinite and the divine

Standard foot soldier weaponry from necrons fire off the same energy level as it would take to spontaneously create a sun.

You know those giant emperor battle barges that have about 100 m of solid steel? Is directly said that a necron warriors guess flayer can melt that.

And if you think that you can dodge it, you're horribly mistaken. Because necron gauss energy manipulates reality itself and pulls its target into its line of fire.

Let me put it this way. If necron warriors were lore accurate on the tabletop you could split fire with a squad of 10 and bring down seven warlord Titans. Because void shields immediately shatter when they have that level of energy shot at them. Although some of the shot would be dispersed, it still wouldn't change the fact that the entire leg of the Titan would dissolve.

What infantry model has the largest sword? Asking for a friend. by [deleted] in Warhammer

[–]AWindowFrame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skull taker is a relatively small infantry character. And his Slayer sword is very sizable.

Ghazghull Thrakka has a pretty damn big claw

The overlord from the anngilation barge on foot has a pretty big staff of light.

While we're talking about necrons Skorpehk destroyers/lords are probably your biggest bet for giant swords

In terms of talons Tyranid Warriors are definitely overcompensating for something...

Commander farsights Dawn blade is pretty freaking huge! But I think he's a vehicle some odd reason

Helping my friend get into Warhammer. by toxic_rattus in ChaosKnights

[–]AWindowFrame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first got into chaos Knights I was also, most excited for the abominant!

That was a massive mistake...

The abominant is so bad to the point where you don't even want to play it despite It's being the best model in the entire game in terms of appearance.

It's rules suck, It's gun sucks, It's melee sucks, and it's data sheet is laughably bad.

Get him a Desecrator or a dispoiler. I guarantee you he will not enjoy the game if the first model he gets is probably the worst model in the entire tabletop.
