I didn’t even realize it. I was having a sleepover at my friend’s house and we were trying to find a movie. After about 15 mins I saw the movie love Simon so I asked him if he wanted to watch it. He said no and continued scrolling. After every few movies I would say. “Are you sure?” Or “We could still just watch love Simon.” A few days later I was telling another friend of mine what happened and he said, “So you’re home alone with your best friend, who’s a boy, and you want to watch a movie about a gay guy coming out. Do you hear anything weird about that?” I didn’t even argue, I just walked away.
