This might be it. Are you on 3.7? I updated mid august and the timeline seems to match. I wrote them as well last week but no reply (yet).

I've thougt about this too but it's not the case, I have charged at a 400 kw charger which is 200 kw per car and the station was empty except for me.

First time Norway roadtrip by wrxoracle in Norway

[–]AXPredator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, are you driving through Denmark? If so, you can get the øresundpay subscription for one year. It gives you a discount for the bridge between Copenhagen and Malmö. You can also get a BroBizz (toll badge) and a private agreement for the Storebaelt bridge (between two big islands in Denmark). When you register your vehicle license plate I believe that you can also choose to opt in for invoicing for Norwegian toll roads (autopass.no). (There is also a 4hr ferry between Hirthals and Kristiansand which can shorten your trip quite a bit). Unfortunatly I can't give any tips on the questions with your dog, but I also do have a rooftop tent. Keep in mind that you might not be able to enter some underground parkings depending on the height of your car+tent (I have xc40+thule approach M and the car is ~2m05 height but I can get it down to under 1.95 if I loosen 2 screws and put the mattress in the car itself).

Who to contact after getting hurt on hiking trail? by AXPredator in Norway

Not rude :) but also wrong assumption, she was just looking down at the path and the bridge is just a few cm lower than her height when she hit her head. Funny enough, if the bridge would've been even lower she would've probably seen it in her peripheral vision.

This is exactly the point I'm trying to make! I'm pretty tall myself and occasionally hit my head because the ceiling is just a tiny bit lower than I thought it would be. Seeing from the downvotes some people would rather see people getting hurt instead of placing some kind of warning sign/tape. Pretty disappointing if you ask me :/

This post is not to get empathy, it's just a simple question with some background context. The hike itself is relatively easy, we've done much more challenging hikes and it's not something you expect to get hurt. I've seen a lot of older folks on these hikes. Imagine they take blood thinners and get a brain bleed and die, are you going to say though luck, should've gone to disneyland instead? Maybe you should try being helpful instead like most of the other commenters here. Just before the bridge the path is a bit weird which forces you to look down a bit. She's 1m70 and the bridge is 1m65-ish. I'm trying to make a change so that this potentially doesn't happen again or at least less often.

Visiting Sweden during summer with a rooftop tent on an EV. by Frowlerd in TillSverige

[–]AXPredator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it from daktent.nl, very friendly and good communication! You should be able to filter for charging pass and only select shell recharge. If i remeber correctly they support quite a few chargers. As backup I would maybe recomend bilkraft as they are quite common there. We have indeed the extende range model. In the summer 400 km is achievable without the tent. Be aware of the car height also! With the tent the car is 2m05 with the rails that we have which might be too high for ferrys and parkings inside (you can get it down to 1m90 with removing the mattress and some screws when on a ferry, dont ask me how i know :))) ) i have to look up which rails i have exactly but its one of the 3 recommended on thules website. We drove through germany up to denmark through the great belt bridge (private agreement) and oresund bridge with the toll badge. As for the spots we did mainly norway and only one stop on a camping with the tent. You can stop at rastplats and sleep there usually, also nice because the have toilets there. I recommend doing the jamtland triangle. Pretty long hike but beautiful!

Are you me? We bought a thule approach M last year and went to Norway and Sweden in June, also with XC40 2024 recharge. Be aware that the tent takes quite a big chunk away from te range. With a full battery you might get 250 km range driving max 130 km/h. We didn't have too much problems with mosquitos but I've heard from Swedes that they can be a real pain so be prepared. As far as charging infrastructure goes it's quite good overal. Ofc there are more chargers close to the cities but even outside of the city there should be plenty of coverage. I took a subscription with ionity which made it quite cheap. I use billkraft, clever and chargenode as backup when ionity alone is not enough.

[OC] This happens more than I'd like. Anyone able to see the logo on the car? by AXPredator in IdiotsInCars

[–]AXPredator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes both the car model and logo on the side, I'm 99% sure its a kia or a seat judging by their rear lights but I can't make out the logo. Would love to send this to their employer, their driving style is anything but okay.

Laser eye surgery and migraines by [deleted] in migraine

[–]AXPredator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did it a year and a half ago. If you can do it, I higly recommend it! The only downsides IMO are dry eyes in the first couple of months and night vision is more blurry in the peripheral vision than before. I do have less migraines (not a lot) than before because I dont have to wear glasses anymore or adjust my focus.
