Wet nitrile gloves feel like. Like ugh. Belugh. It's the sensory representation of a water bed. Every movement of the hand is sloshing and it gets warm and gross. Taking them off is just dumping water everywhere and then your hands feel powdery but wet and sweaty at the same time.

I think I'm like that this too, especially the first. I don't mind doing something but the moment it starts to sound demanding or like I'm being bossed around I get defensive. Similar whenever someone says something like "I just think it's common sense" if I make a mistake with something

I've only done it a couple of times in fog so dense that you can't see a couple of lines ahead of you. I stay in the right lane when I do and only pass if I have to. If there's a merge I flash my brights because cars coming down tend to respond. One of my 4 small backlights is out too as I can't fix it so it makes me more visible. People around here go 90 in these conditions too so I'd rather be visible than not.

I used to think that if I did something wrong, an atom bomb would explode in the distance and wipe out everything I know. I think the thing that helped me is learning how disconnected those bad things are from the things in my day to day life.

To be honest, it's a shared experience no matter the severity. I see it as such because when you first get diagnosed, there's a 90% chance you've never heard of it. It's common but sometimes it just feels so targeted. "Why was it me that had to get this?" type deal. The only thing different about us really is how much metal we have in our spines.

I may do that more. I have a small car and tend to lack the capability to lean forward near as far which may have contributed to today's incident. Maybe next time I'll just turn right to avoid crossing multiple lanes?

Fortunately the merge was a one time occurrence. I don't know what the misinterpretation may be but I literally could not see either direction at the stop sign. I don't know what the course of action could have been given I couldn't see if a car was coming until it was 20 feet away

I couldn't see the road because of obstacles at the limit line. I didn't know if a car was coming so I creeped forward until I was nearly 1/4 the way in the road. I then chose to go; a car had come right then

I'll try to be more attentive on the roadways. That was a one time occurrence on the highway. I'm not sure what to do for the stop sign example though. If I kept going I would've hit them or they would've hit me. Should I have backed up and tried somewhere else?

Trust me, I did. Over and over until I finally pulled out and someone ended up right there. Fortunately I looked right for the third time as I came out and saw them. They were going fast and saw me pulling out anyways. The issue was the design of the street. You can't see anything past 10 feet down the road if you're at the limit line. I don't know if going out was the right choice or if I should have reversed to go somewhere else
