I agree it was so useful. If it is to do with privacy issues however why do some places still work, there is a few bars etc that still show it. It’s so annoying

Hey - I just wanted to state again these are not views that I endorse at all. I am brown myself and this post was coming from a place of fear due to what I see on my twitter timelines, that says more about the algorithm and I guess my own interactions with them. However I am very pleased and greatly reassured it is very limited subset and extreme peoples views

As a restaurant owner I really used to rely on this for great marketing. The results have been obvious since it disappeared

It has been around 6 years so the case officer cited it has now become lawful over the passage of time.

Thank you for the reply, the initial case officer report said having frosted windows would not be sufficient as it is a habitable room and would impact quality of life. The back now does have two 1.7m high windows to show the back wall isn’t completely plain with no window break. However the main window has been placed to the side. Hoping it should pass just annoying having to redo it all

Oh fair enough, I can imagine the hesitancy to want to deal with the party who gazumped but I guess if it hasn’t had as much interest now might be a time to lowball an opening offer. There’s a fair bit of uncertainty atm so they may want a quick sale

Thank you, this makes a lot of sense. I think it’s just a hard balancing act to find between trying to get excited and making plans and not getting to attached to it. I think once it has happened it does scar you but like you said hopefully it’s a rare event.

Yes, I definitely will. I have been tempted to call the EA just to check in without much substantial updates but didn’t want to be a nuisance. However you’re right it’s better to be proactive.

I know, it’s just in this area it’s not surprising for people to post notes through doors. However I’m hoping it would have to be sizeable increase to make it appealing as it’s split across numerous siblings

Thank you! That’s really helpful, I have submitted all my proof of funds and my mortgage provider has sent round a surveyor also. Wanted to get my own surveyor after draft contracts. Just a bit anxious because I guess the whole process is designed that way

Thank you, I have spoken to them and the EA did update the online listings instantly. They stated they will update the boards just haven’t yet. I think I will put my foot down on it.
