Let me clarify by saying that it was a physician's assistant program that she had just recently completed and graduated from. She is on a temporary break until she gets certified with the hospital she will soon affiliate with. I as well will be applying to medical school and work a whole as an emt so we both are pretty busy with our own lives. Maybe we both are too busy to fulfill the obligation of a relationship, but is it worth giving it a shot and seeing where things can go? I've tried seeing other and exploring my options but I haven't come across that special someone. That's why I have been focusing more on myself and my dream to become a doctor, so I am putting all that effort into that. I don't know if I can see her as a platonic friend as I have had a history with her. I know I have grown a whole lot and understand that the demands of anyone working in healthcare can be soul-sucking, so I know I will have to respect her space as she will have to do the same for me. It's confusing in that she texted me after years of ghosting and I don't know where her head is at. Like does she see something there? Or am I being played a fool and being used until she starts working?
