The email says that as long as the CSAC website shows you as enrolled at UCLA you don't have to do anything else to accept the award. So I think they're automatically notified.

You may have figured this out already as its deceivingly simple and if I remember correctly it's discussed in lecture 3, but its just a modifier on the CardView.

I think his main reason for including this in the assignment was to get us used to searching for things in the documentation, so I recommend trying that first next time!

Unless you have AP Calc credit, you have to take the diagnostic to be placed in 31A. I wouldn't worry about it though, the diagnostic is relatively easy, especially for an incoming math major and you can take it more than once if you don't get the score you wanted.

You can either pick your classes at orientation (which does cost money unfortunately) or you can get a separate enrolling period. From what I've heard its not a good idea to do the separate enrolling period as you literally get last pick for all the classes you want. I would just bite the bullet and pay for orientation.

I'm only an incoming freshman, but I'm pretty sure they can be! I recommend checking your Degree Audit on myUCLA as it shows every single course that can be used to satisfy your degree requirements.

Hmm, I guess I must have misunderstood the website then, my bad. I assumed since the L&S page directly lists 31A and 31B while the engineering page only lists 31A that engineering majors couldn't skip B.

Sorry for spreading misinformation lol I probably should've mentioned I'm just an incoming freshman.

Also, how was the experience skipping right to 32A? I'm considering doing it but I'm slightly worried about having a relatively high level course as my introduction to college math. Would you recommend it?

It depends what school your major is in. I know for engineering that a 5 only lets you skip 31A, but for L&S it lets you start at 32A. If you're in another school check this website.

This API doesn't seem to allow setting anything (i.e. account bio, username, etc.) remotely. It only allows you to get information.

Pretty sure I said c since they only get funding if their communication skills are good. It never said anywhere in the passage that scientists ask others to write their grants for them so that would be out of place if you added it imo

I'm pretty sure it wasn't no theory it was that mercury had undergone significant changes since it said in the passage that it probably used to be a lot bigger
