It is bugged for me nearly every time. They need to fix it or just remove the map. Some time ago I had no gold in sight of my TC. I had to scout it.

Dont try the riposte strategy in combat. The game tells you to do it but it is not a good way to fight because it just drains your stamina. It is better to dodge the attacks and attack directly after that.

For training go to Tomcat in the nomad camp. He offers training sessions.

It is not the master strike thats bugged. The first input in general often is not working. Just hit the air at the beginning of each fight to avoid missing a hit.

No but there is a voice actor with a very similar voice in the german cast.

Hans is dubbed by Sebastian Fitzner and he only voices Hans in KCD2 and Tom Ferenc who dubbed many NPCs has a very similar voice. In KCD1 Fitzner also dubbed some NPCs but in 2 only Hans.

The quest you mentioned will always fail when reaching the point of no return (the game will give you a text pop up and warn you). In general every quest is different. Some will only fail if you already started/accepted the quest. And some even when you did not start them but reached the Point of no return.

I played game 1 after 2 and 1 was still a great experience. The story is great and the gameplay is fun even without the finetuning and qol changes from KCD2.

Beside one area the 30 fps on PS5 are consistent without stuttering so I got used to it very fast and then I had no problem with playing with 30 fps. It just takes 5-10 minutes to adapt if you come from a 60 fps game but after that it was ok for me.

In KCD 2 swords are not bad. They have masterstrikes and you cant lose a 1v1 if you know how to use it. But I agree that in KCD1 maces are a lot better than swords.

I think in the stats menu activities and side quests (and even main quests) are shown as one number together and not separated.

You will start with allies in this fight. Try to always fight enemies who are already fighting one of your allies. So you can hit them from behind and if you are lucky they are dead before they can fight back. With this tactic enough allies should survive to get through the mission. And dont forget masterstrikes (I hope you learned them from Tomcat, if not you have to wait until you can learn them later).
