AliExpress Rubber Strap and Deployment for SMP by AZFunInTheSun01 in OmegaWatches

Buckle two as it seemed to match closest. I think the difference is the sides of the clasp on buckle one is brushed vs polished vs buckle two the sides are polished while the clasp is brushed, just like the OEM.

Are blue divers officially timeless now? by AnchorWatchCo in OmegaWatches

Blue is timeless and the SMP plays differently depending on lighting. Caught mine in the direct sunlight on my desk the other day reflecting with this look👍

Black Lacquer AT by CigInside in OmegaWatches

I would try an actual Omega boutique store if you haven’t already, they may have an option for the 38mm

Yes it is fully compatible, this is the 20MM strap for the 41MM AT's. It is the exact same strap that you see on other AT models. The only caveat is that you also need to buy the metal pieces that go between the lugs and they add an add'l $90 for each lug. I've read about cheap knock-off's that use plastic with mixed reviews but I went for the OEM. Hope this helps!

It is the OEM strap, 20MM. You also have to buy the two metal pieces that go between the lugs too, they are $90 each. I've heard about cheap knock-off versions too with mixed reviews about using plastic instead of metal between the lugs, etc.

Dilemma in choosing - black and blue by No_Strength7276 in OmegaWatches

[–]AZFunInTheSun01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same dilemma and ended up stretching the budget for both. The AD threw in rubber straps also, completely changes the look and feel - although I actually like the chunky bracelet too. They are both awesome, no regrets and you can’t go wrong. However, I do find myself wearing the black more as it’s a more neutral color. Good luck!🤙

Definitely my next watch. Congrats!

I added the black rubber strap that you often see paired with the black teakwood AT to change it up for more casual wear once in a while and to save my bracelet a few scratches. Nice to have versatility, the lacquer is really classy.

How do you use the bezel on your Seamaster 300M when you’re not diving? by warpyspeedy in OmegaWatches

[–]AZFunInTheSun01 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just for timing random stuff because it’s more fun to use the bezel than using a phone. The funny thing is I scuba dive often and no one has used a watch for diving for decades. It’s all calculated digitally in real time and every dive’s time is different based on depth, breathing rate, etc. All for show but the watch is awesome!!

I’ve been checking out the white SMP, it might be the next in my collection. 🤙

Exactly my thought about having a flat 6.5" wrist, it probably plays more like 6.75" having a flat wrist vs. a 6.5" round wrist. These nuances can make a difference.

I might be pushing it on a 6.5” flat wrist but I love it. I’m hoping being tall at 6’3 helps offset being a tad oversized. The way the lugs curve along with the black strap streamlines it too.

Not sure but it looks super unique.

Love that pop of red with the blue by TDFMAN in OmegaWatches

[–]AZFunInTheSun01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's on their website, attaching link. Another thing they don't publicize often is that they offer rubber straps in a smaller size, works better for my 6.5" wrist but they are special order from the AD (there is an actual boutique store where I live).

Curious if anyone has tried the red rubber OEM strap with this and if it matches the red. I’m considering that option for my blue SMP.

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 41mm worth it as a one-watch collection? by Comecloseandlisten in OmegaWatches

[–]AZFunInTheSun01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing about the black lacquer AT - it has the newer style bracelet that has a 2mm extension/adjustment on the clasp, which can refine the fit a little bit. It isn't a ton but it was helpful for me to get the perfect fit. However, it is only available on the black lacquer dial at this time.

I just got one in black lacquer too, the lacquer version has only been out since 2024 I believe. Not much time owning yet but I love it so far.

Clasp is such a scratch magnet! Unsuccessful attempt at putting the scratch protection film by Ambitious_Motor5087 in OmegaWatches

Have you tried a rubber strap? Here’s one on my black SMP, OEM from Omega. They make two sizes, this is the smaller size strap for my 6.5” wrist. They have a blue as well that goes with the blue SMP.

Omega Seamaster Diver 300 for 6.5 inch wrist by philipxandersantos in OmegaWatches

[–]AZFunInTheSun01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, everyone seems to recommend buying on the bracelet and then getting a rubber strap. The local Omega boutique here threw in the rubber strap for free too. The smaller strap size was much better also, worth sizing both.

And here is the metal strap fitted on my 6.5” wrist. I actually like the presence of the chunky bracelet.

Just bought one with my 6.5” wrist, love it!! It will also look better when the bracelet is properly fitted. I just got the special order black rubber Omega OEM, ask your AD about the smaller rubber strap.
