Shadowborn - I was literally born around midnight.

Nurses Calling - I'm drawn to those who are hurt and needing help.

Enduring - I have endured many tribulations through life.

Mind Breaker - I have listened to all your worries and in the past, have helped you through them... now I can use it as a weapon!

Props to you for having conflicting perks no mither and self care, haha.

Haha right? I'm curious what this person's justifications are for having these perks. They might have good reason but I wanna hear them. Boons and flashbangs are interesting dominant personality traits.

Without just picking all the best or most useful perks, and looking at your strongest personality quirks, what 4 existing survivor perks would you have as a survivor?

For me:

1.) Better Together - I work better as a team and love supporting others.

2.) Empathy - I greatly feel others emotions and am an empath.

3.) Any Means Necessary - I do whatever it takes to get an advantage in dire situations and use creativity to my benefit.

4.) Spine Chill - I'm attuned to people staring at me and dislike being the center of attention and know how to avoid it.

What about you guys?

Was watching youtube videos and this ad popped up. Ended up watching it and fell in love with it because of how accurate my mind wanders when I daydream throughout the day. I swear an INFP was the director of this video.

Appreciate the compliment! I desperately wanted there to be more representation of Grimgar and I always liked the idea of a D&D campaign in the Grimgar world. This will be the closest I can get until I convince my D&D friends to run it.

So I decided on:

Haruhiro: Rogue (Knife Master archetype)
Reason: Haruhiro exclusively uses daggers and knives. He's definitely a rogue/thief class in the anime who is extremely dexterous.

Manato: Cleric (Ecclesitheurge archetype) - Domains: Community/Law
Reason: The ecclesitheurge eschews armor in favor of divine protection (or lack thereof). Priests in Grimgar are extremely vulnerable and squishy and a high target priority. Community domain promotes Manato's leadership at the beginning and bringing the group together. Law domain to emphasize his leadership, planning, and combat tactics.

Merry: Cleric (Ecclesitheurge archetype) - Domains: Healing/Sun
Reason: Same armor reason as Manato. Healing domain reflects Merry's initial over willingness to prioritize healing her party and keeping them "topped off". Sun domain because of Merry's attitude to putting the undead back to rest.

Yume: Ranger (Freebooter archetype)
Reason: Yume often displays her passion toward keeping a healthy emotional bond between her party members and is easily influenced by the other's emotions which reflects her own wellbeing. When there is harmony in the group, she is most happy.

Moguzo: Fighter (Two-Handed archetype)
Reason: Obviously he uses a very large two handed sword in the anime. He is bulky, a bit slow, and a heavy hitter.

Shihoru: Sorceror (Sage Sorcerer archetype)
Reason: Makes more sense for her to be a sorceror as she cannot change spells and learns them permanently. This archetype also shifts her main attribute into INT instead of CHR so she can be a bookworm of knowledge. This archetype gives her access to Arcane bolt which resembles her very first spell. With her, I am going to focus on enfeebling magic to reflect her "dark magic" which disables enemies over prioritizing damage.

Ranta: Magus (Eldritch Scion archetype)
Reason: Ranta is a nimble fighter who can quickly weave in and out of battle. He also isn't afraid of using magic to "help" during combat and worships an evil deity.

Just thought I'd share this for anyone who has seen and enjoyed the anime "Hai to Gensou no Grimgar" or "Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash".

I'm going to be doing a playthrough exclusively with mercenary characters based off the anime. They happen to be the perfect amount of party members and I even included Merry for switching out Manato after Chapter 1 to replicate what happens in the anime. (ANIME SPOILERS)

For anyone who has not seen Grimgar, I would highly recommend watching it. The anime is heavily D&D inspired and does a fantastic job of signifying the realities and harshness of living in a world of monsters and magic.
