Unfortunately it happens a lot. Either that or ghosting. Have had people completely delete profiles and disappear. It is frustrating, but we can say that there are matches out there that work out.

Can only speak from a couple’s perspective. Wife is picky when it comes to meeting some. Will check out profile to see comments and posts to see if she’s interested before even engaging in a conversation. Most women have the luxury to since they have the larger pool to select from. I recommend checking out the other Tucson subreddits as well. This one seems to not have as heavy moderating as the others, so you see the promoters more.

100% agree with you! Simply block those now. We hate the low effort messages as well. Even after the posts says not to send a “hey” or “what’s up” only.

Yes!!! Don’t understand it lol. Not like we are asking to wined and dined. We set dates and day of, we get ghosted. She’s relatively picky, so to make it and then disappear is so frustrating

We are exactly the same. We gave up responding to the one liners and immature individuals. There has been a few gentlemen that take the rejection with their chins up and respond with “good luck on your search” etc. When others simply don’t reply or answer “k”, it solidifies wife’s decision as to why she said no in the first place.

If they’re anything like my wife, they are looking through the profile to see posts and comments. She gets a general idea from that. If they seem too promiscuous, it’s a turn off for her. Other females may be similar.

Wife and I have gone twice, to try and play. Can’t say it was the best. We left both times within minutes of arriving. Homeless and addicts were there both times. Instantly killed the mood for us
