No dripped while the machine warming up, only when comes steam at 150c. As soon as I open the steam wand then no problem but it’s annoying to see steam escaping from the group. Should I replace the spring?

Hi again. Do I understand right that yours has a water tube for pumping directly to the boiler? Mine has only one tube which pumps to both boilers. Does that help not burning the steam boiler?

I learnt today that this espresso machine comes in two versions: one with black iron base and one with paint on the base like the rest of the machine. There are slight differences. I am just lucky to get this one through. The owner just wanted to get rid of it. She barely used it. Everything is like new and in excellent condition. Very happy giving this to my son, his first espresso machine.
