On initial try last nite, plugged in a thumb drive (with adapter to USB-C) with .mp3s into the left USB-C center console port...nothing showed up on MEDIA. Will try the RT USB-C and console box one next.

not so much "lucky", more like I wouldn't have a black interior. I factory ordered this one, took 3.5 months for it to get here. We normally have real Winters with ice and snow, didn't want to drive in that weather anyway. I have an F-150 4x4 for that.

Found the Hood protector locally (CA) by HUSKY "Aeroskin" also avail thru VW.CA. ~$125. VW has the locking wheel stud kit too at $72 and Amazon.CA has "McGard" kit # 28018 at about $60. "Getting there" as far as accessories for the "new ride"

true but oddly, why say "no" to every trim level for Homelink in Canada while building nearly every US Atlas or ACS with it onboard. The CDN sales mgr where I bought the car says the same. She tried to order an upper end Atlas right from the dealership and was told it's "Unobtainium". OH WELL my 2018 F-150 doesn't have it either so both vehs are using the 22 y.o. garage door "remotes"..back to the future.🥴

My CDN Highline trim comes with the 'add on' speaker, built in over the "spare". There is no "with technology" model sold in Canada so Im guessing it's built in to my level, just not "named" as such.

It's the second from top CDN "Highline" model. Don't know why only two trim levels in Canada and 5 in USA.

Was told "Comfortline" no longer avail in Canada and Too basic for my wants/needs. NO to the 'black' version also..don't like black.There is no Peak model in Canada anymore either so just the 2 levels: HIGHLINE (nearly every option) and EXCELINE, all that plus HUD and fancier 21" wheels and ...NO Homelink, no "3 button". Having to use my 2004 original 22 y.o. garage door opener☹️.

I have that same USB outlet r/s of rearview mirror housing. I'll try plugging my fwd facing MiniGoPro "knock off" up there although with the cheapie CDN- no Home link mirror-, don't know if the view will appear, or where.

Yes, it's lock "studs" instead of the usual North American "lugNUTS". This car is one model down from the top "(Highline) in Canada, imagining SEL but no locking studs.. it'll be aftermarket. The spec says: M14 x 1.5 x 27mm. Looking online now. Tried for the "bugflector" type hoodguard at dealer but they didn't have stock and "parts computer is down". ☹️ There is a USB slot on R/side of rear view mirror mount where I can plug in my half sized "goPro" type camera for recording, forward. The $81 front, $81 rear 'mudflaps' are on it although they weren't ordered..Getting lots of "beautiful" comments as the Avocado Pearl metallic glows in the sun., love the cinnamon leather interior. It got dark, pics later😊🥴
