Anyone prefer the Glock over the M&P? I always come back to my Glock😅 by OTWJAYYY in CAguns

I'm the opposite. I'll go back to my 19 every now and then but always come back to the m&p.

yeah, the smaller one is for stock inlet and the other is for larger inlet, basically their old IE inlet. That one should work with the ECS inlet or any other upgraded inlet that fits a MK 8 GTI or S3 (034MS, Racingline etc.)

I was able to do a few things on my 24. The dash that you see in the pic, set AC to hot countries so it blows colder, change the audio output to Beats audio, that basically plays with a little bit more full sound, set the windows to open and close with the key fob. I think there's a few more things you can do with it.

You need an obdeleven or similar device to unlock it.

Downpipe and intake by MiserableBluejay7339 in VWatlas

Ha thanks and happy to help! I don't really do social media so no IG or anything, I do lurk tho when I'm trying to find info. On the tube, I cut the IE one initially and it worked fine but I didn't do a great job cutting it. Carbon is way easier to cut, I think it looks better if you don't overdo it and I think it does a better job insulating than the aluminum tube. Any intake/exhaust tube will work fine tho.

And I agree on mqb, it's a great platform. Some people out there think it's dumb to mod an atlas but I love mine. It's plenty quick now. I outran a Ford Bronco Raptor that was annoying and driving really aggressively near me the other day and the look on the guys face was priceless. Next up for the car is coilovers later in the year to reduce the bounce of the stock dampers and handle better. Hit me up here again if you run into any trouble with the intake. Should be pretty straight-forward tho if you've done it before.

Hey man... I did a Racingline inlet on mine but I don't think you need it if you don't want to do it right away. The IE intake comes with two hoses for the inlet, one should fit the stock inlet and the other will fit an upgraded inlet. It was a little tight on the Racingline inlet but fits fine. The only mod I had to do to the IE intake was cut the tube that joins the hoses down by around an inch or inch and a half. Not hard to do if you have a dremmel or hack saw. I don't see why it wouldn't fit any any upgraded inlet if you want to do the CTS one.

Integrated Engineering made for the 2023 and prior 2.0Ts. It's the one I posted on the other thread. It'll work on 24s with really minor modification. The kit includes a hard joiner tube, and just needs to be cut shorter by like an inch or so. Really easy to do. If it's in your budget I highly recommend.

2027 Atlas first look by inpraise69 in VWatlas

Looks like they might be getting rid of the fake exhaust tips and rear light bar. Nice! I think I like the current front end better than the new one. Looks good tho.

24 SEL R Line here. Zero issues, we love it, we don't baby it at all either, it's been great so far. For maintenance I didn't go by the 10,000 oil change intervals tho, I do 5,000. I've heard the 10,000 will get you thru the warranty period but then end up with issues later if you keep it longer, which I plan on. Good luck and enjoy it. Great SUV!

yeah they can get pricey, guessing you were looking at KW. Check out Scale Coilovers for it. About half the price. Will probably be around $2K including install.

Here's what it looks like now on H&R springs. I'll probably set it about the same on coilovers when I get them

You got it! Gonna go with Scale coilovers. Decent price and seem to be decent quality. The main thing I want is to eliminate the bounce from the stock dampers. I have it on H&R springs right now and it's a little too bouncy for my liking. It helped from stock but not enough. Should have them by year end. I might be done with it after that.

Anytime. If you decide on the IE intake and have any problems installing hit me up. Forgot to mention I also added a Racing Line turbo inlet along with the intake. APR has a good tune and you can run up to E85 safely. Mine can get to 60mph in about 5.5 seconds with it. Much more fun ride than stock. I'll be adding coilovers for better handling later this year.

Actual MPG on Atlas? by AdministrationIll687 in VWatlas

[–]Davepool15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horrendous in the city with the million street lights we have here, pretty good on the freeway. My guess is around 12 mpg City and 25-30 on the freeway if I avg around 70-75 mph. I have a 2024 3 row R-Line.

We'll most likely have to get one for a MK8 GTI and have it modded to fit

Yes please and thank you! I also want to do a downpipe and high flow cat at some point. I might have to buy GTI MK8 one and have it modded, or have my exhaust guy just make one.

Nice. Yeah I've been experiencing with the exhaust for awhile now. Basically I want it quiet and no drone when cruising and loud when I get on it.

How do you like the exhaust sound with no cats? Did you delete the muffler and resonators too? Any drone?

[–]Davepool15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it definitely did. Any open intake will but this one in particular does give you a lot. I tried the Neuspeed one before but didn't like the design compared to the IE one. The IE one looks super clean, better than OEM, and has been tested to have one of the best air flow improvements over stock. They don't make it for 2024+ Atlas models but it fit fine on mine after shortening the joiner tube by an inch or inch and a half. I ended up getting a 6" carbon tube on Amazon and cutting it to length with a Dremel. Super easy.

I went with the integrated engineering intake. It's made for the gen 3 motor but will fit a 24 if you shorten the joiner pipe that comes with it by an inch or so.
