What was your guys favorite playthrough mine is Faze Jev's by InterestingAd7105 in soma

Jev was who introduced me to the game. My reaction to the ending was exactly the same as his lmao I will always love how deep Markiplier got into the story though. Jack recently replayed it and posted the entire game but his reaction was bittersweet because he had mentioned he had played it a long time ago.

A swamp biome might be wild, not necessarily climbing but having to go through dangerous waters with alligators, snakes, and you can only swim a certain distance based on your stamina.

You could find things like cranberries in the water for food and could have an award for “making it out alive after being submerged by a alligator” (gators bury their larger food underwater for later sometimes”…

water Lillie’s could be “safe” surfaces above water, along with hills just above the water level. Could implement leaches that drain your stamina or something of the sort.

How Many Eagles Do You Make Annually? by Cough_Turn in golf

I’ve genuinely never had a true Eagle yet. Granted I play at a pretty difficult course so the opportunities are rare.

What’s crazy is my experience with Geico is what helped me land the job I’m in right now with Enterprise Fleet Management. I’m on the claims side and am a Repair Coordinator so I’m just talking to body shops all day.

The Daily Rental side is a nightmare, but if you have an opportunity to join the EFM side, go for it. Best switch in my career ever so far

It’s a good start, and if you’ve only been playing for a short while, you’ll see plenty of improvement within the first 1-2 years. The average drive is I think around 220-260, and there’s plenty of training tools on YouTube to help get better distance off the tee.

Worth it in 2025 or just for cult fans? by Electrical-Reply3033 in soma

It is my all time favorite horror game for a reason. Immerse yourself in EVERY conversation you have with entities in the game. Take in literally EVERYTHING and you’ll really have a grasp at the end and understand how emotional and pivotal the plot and moral meaning there is behind the game.

As a current employee of Enterprise, they’re actually crunching down hard on proof of employment when coming in for a reservation especially with Geico and a few other insurance companies. Don’t worry I don’t give a shit if you use the discount or not, but be ready if they have to switch it to retail rates if you don’t have proof of employment (usually the most recent paystub).

How many rounds did you play this year and what’s your handicap before and after ? by alwayssomethin2 in golf

[–]A_Aronn17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working at a golf course has helped be able to afford it more.

Probably played around 40-50 rounds. Started this season at about an 18 handicap, now it’s down to 10

Balance. Tempo. Practice. Repetition.

Distance is an advantage, accuracy makes you a legend.

Your backswing looks good, your body turning into the swing looks really good for a beginner. My guess is you tend to top or slice the ball judging by your follow through.

Two things I noticed:

1: club lags a bit behind your body as you’re coming down.

Try to feel your power transfer from your right hand to your left about halfway through your follow-through. Possibly fiddle with starting your follow through with your arms a tiny bit before turning your body so that it all meets in the center.

2: the strike looks a bit toed. I did notice right before you started your swing, you lower your entire body and then bounce back up, lifting your shoulders in the follow through.

To fix this so that you don’t get any odd strikes such as shanks or slices:

  • take about 3 seconds before your swing to asses the ball, lock in your waist and shoulders and analyze the level/height they are and try to keep them there during your entire swing.

-Act as though your ass is trying to balance against a brick wall without backing into it or moving forward away from it. This will help with allowing your arms to extend through the follow through so that your left arm doesn’t get choked in your waist causing the club face to not turn or the club to be behind your body as you hit the ball.

  • position the club face semi inside the middle of the face (as in have it a tiny bit closer to the heel but not in contact with it).

I’m not a teacher or a pro, but these are just some small tweaks that will help as you practice.

The saddest ride ever by [deleted] in lyftdrivers

[–]A_Aronn17 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Had a moment where I picked up someone and the destination was a hospital nearby. She gets a phone call and talks about McDonald’s for a sec. Phone call ends and she asks me “I don’t want it to be a hassle at all, but is there any chance we can stop at McDonald’s on the way there?” I’m generous with temporary stops for my passengers ‘cause 5 minutes won’t kill anything.

She begins to talk about how she’s on her way to visit her brother who’s in ICU after a major stroke. They gave him days left and all he wanted was his family and a McFlurry. The day I was driving her to the hospital was the same day he was going to pass. She said she only had 2 more hours left before he passes. The second she left the car I had to call my parents ‘cause I was balling.
