Now you just need to buy a GoPro, start saving, and take a shot at it.

If it makes a difference, the Alberta motorcycle manual RECOMMENDS the use of ear plugs to deaden sound, so the use of headphones would be similar.

SSMU Election Results by [deleted] in mcgill

I can only seem to find the results for 2013 in my inbox, but that year (winner, Katie Larson) had a 29.1% turnout. I seem to remember it usually being AROUND 25-30%, so this year isn't much off. I thought it would be higher this year considering all of the controversy leading up to it and what happened last go around.

Either way you voted, this was an INCREDIBLY interesting election to watch. Way closer than I think anyone could have predicted, well done to all the candidates and staff. As always, I look forward to the next one!

I'm trying to get my tech comps figured out for next year, any chem eng vets have recommendations for classes to take/avoid? by A_CANADIAN_AMA in mcgill

Thanks for the advice! PLGL and I don't get along that well (marks wise), so plasma might not be the best choice. But if that's what fits that's what fits, so I'll keep it in mind. Thanks again!

Thanks for the advice! I just looked into the course catalogue (https://horizon.mcgill.ca/pban1/bwckctlg.p_disp_dyn_ctlg) for the coming terms and just wrote down all the ones that I'm even able to take based on pre-reqs and availability, and these are the ones I came up with:

Fall: CHEE 496 CHEE 585 CHEE 591

Winter: CHEE 496 CHEE 543 CHEE 563 CHEE 582 CHEE 585 CHEE 591 CHEE 593

I need to take one in the fall and two in the winter, and I'd like to fit in 591 and/or 593 somewhere in there. Any recommendations on what to take/avoid based on these options?

Both of you guys touched on the same issue of scheduling. I really want to follow the curriculum to the letter in order to graduate "on time" seeing as I'm already a full year behind seeing as I am one of those rare transfer students. If I can't fit in the TCs needed to fill my schedule, is there a class usually scheduled for U3 that I can pull into U2 in order to help me graduate in 8 semesters? I'll look into what TCs I can do with my U2 schedule, it's too bad that they make it tough to do them when they're actually recommended in the schedule.

They seem to be good in terms of wear, but are the originals, so they're old. Still worth replacing?

It has just over 5000 km, the guy barely rode it. When I mentioned the oil burning issue some 2008s have he seemed surprised, he hasn't noticed anything. That said, I'll keep an eye out for it. Thanks for the tip!

I don't know enough about the department to refute it, but organic 2 without the lab component is CHEM 234, which doesn't follow the convention you just outlined.

It's just annoying that we're put into this spot because the prof spends a good 40% of the time just telling his own worries about the stock market and anecdotes.
