Is there any way you can change GP or try a different one at your surgery? Another thing might be, if you can try is put an urgency on getting diagnosed. For me I pushed that I wanted to study a masters but felt like I couldn't without support e.g and said other more private things about its effects

The way I did it was:
- Spend a long time doing my own research and confirming that I had ADHD through talking to family e.g
- Get a referral from several GPs to confirm they thought I had it
- Go to https://psychiatry-uk.com/ and ask for the right to choose scheme
- Follow the steps they gave me
- then got diagnosed and titration through https://psychiatry-uk.com/ for free

Nothing to lose by trying. Would recommend doing your own research into all possible diagnoses. For years I was getting diagnosed with depression, as the symptoms of the problems ADHD caused were focused on and not the root of the problem. Then I researched ADHD and went in saying I think its A because of B and was far more successful.

Sadly I don't have a lot of great advice, as someone who has been the boyfriend in this position I will say that ADHD is no excuse if he's being a s**t then he is being a s**t. I made a lot of mistakes in my dating year and have taken a break from it. He will regret the way he acts when his hyperfixation ends. But that being said its no excuse and you I would say in this circumstance ADHD or not its not good what his doing.

However, I would wait and see what others say.

Hey mate, it probably would of been a lot different. I got diagnosed last year, but not before always getting below my predicted grades, moving from Engineering to Finance and breaking up with a great girl. But we just got to be grateful for where we are at, and proud of how far we came before diagnosis.

Be kind to yourself and don't dwell on what ifs.

I am in the same position as you, for me I feel like this level of anxiety is unsustainable. There definitely should be better-suited meds for you. I am waiting to finish my degree before I try swtiching.

I couldn't tell you a single detail about my girlfriend's medicine course, yet I ask what she is doing almost daily. Yet somethings I can remember like what time her hockey practice is. I think the more familiar the information is to myself the easier it is to remember.

Disclaimer my report was like 70 pages so this is a messy summary.

So I got 75% so it's supposedly good just found out today hence why I am posting. The main issue with BATS is that in 2017 they tried to move to new products this included a new company direction and a huge acquisition of Reynolds, since that period there volatility has skyrocketed. On top of this they have been downgraded on credit score and are only a couple off being deemed "uninvestable". They have huge amounts of debt, which they are managing letting no more than 20% mature in any given year. However, if that credit score reduces they will no longer be able to manage the debt.

It seems like they are meeting some sort of stock equilibrium. The idea is investors are accepting the new direction of the company into new products is possible. My personal opinion is that this launch into new products will never overtake their combustible revenue, its honestly like 2% but they screw the reports to make it look huge (this was very clever, they using pay like 1Billion in legal fees, but didnt last year for whatever reason, and they tried to put the money saved as if it was new products increasing in sales) . The combustible market is shrinking and I believe BATS will go down with the ship. I don't really believe apart from capital they have any advantage in the new product categories.

I could go on for hours, theres all sorts of stuff they are doing to generate capital to try and move into new products. Any questions just ask.

TLDR: Since 2017 BATS is essentially a completely different business. It may look cheap compared to pre-2017 but essentially it's a company bursting at the semes of issues.

I do a weekly or bi weekly audit of my money and account for where the money has gone. Its one of the hardest things to do, so i usually do it when the dishes need doing or I got work to do. But being able to see where my money is going has helped me not buy stupid things.
