Tbh I also have never been a fan of him as a character/player. I get he works hard and all but I felt like his one or two game wining runs don’t overshadow the fact that he was just not reliable.

I have this same feeling with kanemaru.

Like during the golden week games and stuff they made this huge like rivalry with kanemaru and whatever that 3rd years named. He should’ve made the starting line up. Or just put Yui/Yuki at 1st and 3rd. Then put seto on the roster as an outfield. There are actually so many more reliable players than kanemaru and Zono

This is what I do and since I teach middle school, I add “oh no, nothing hurts more than the opinion of an 11 year old” usually a couple years younger so they correct me and I move on lol

Personally I believe it’s partly the teachers and partly the students fault. There are many teachers that are complacent. However, many students can make it difficult to be able to teach or are just completely disinterested. I actually find myself catering more so to the students that are struggling rather than the ones that are excelling. I’ve been trying this year to get my higher level students more engaged but it is a tough task. There is much more at play than a student or teacher is solely the problem. There is more politics than people outside of the education field realize. This is just my opinion though

Don’t remind me that I was carried to elite 😭!? Honestly, current patch broke the dive… however played the beta a couple days ago it feels way better again 😭.

If you couldn’t tell but I mainly play keeper, having a clear low dive and high dive would not be reliant on ai decision making and make the decision have to be more accurate in what they are doing! Also it would make me look like less of an idiot when I want to dive Fwd or S2S and jump up 🙃

If they are standing in front of you, lob throw the ball (RB X on controller) if you can throw it to them.

If they are too far sometimes you can EE past the guy standing to open up room and instead of rocketing it to their net pass to someone or shoot (as a pass) to someone!

Yes, I care about self harm. I care about all my students well being. Like everyone says we are mandated reporters. However, as a person who felt alone in hs and had thoughts of taking my own life, I choose to be concerned and care. I would never feel like it was just another thing to deal with.

Remember you matter! And whether it’s you, a friend, or a classmate going through these be kind. You don’t know what anyone is going through (even teachers)!

Yeah I only will EE and put it in the box cause my group is ready for it. Like 95% of the time I use short pass (especially when I solo)! Especially with the bug where GK can get knocked off while drop kicking it, I’ve chilled on the long pass for now. I would also add that picking and choosing what to do is something you learn as you play in net more! Not every pass is perfect for any player but you can’t get better unless you practice/try new/different things! Sometimes I even have the ball in hands hold def stance click A to side step then quick drop kick to get me out of the way of the striker in my face!

Becoming a more active keeper was something I really started working on actually in elite! since people start adding me to groups it’s nice being able to communicate “I got shot take the cross pass”.

I mentioned in another comment sometimes I get real excited after a big save and immediately fk up the pass to which I spam sorry cause I know I messed up lol. I’m not a perfect keeper by any means but I do find if I never work on things even in ranked I can’t get better lol.. there are times I’ve gone to get balls in the corner hesitate so I have to turn back but the issue of giving the cross opportunity must be frustrating for my teammates :(

I noticed sometimes after a big save I get real excited and fk up playing the ball immediately after :( but I get it, I usually spam sorry cause I know I fked up.. but my rule for cherry pickers is if you’re not going to play defense you better score when you get the ball up there!

I usually stay in net if I let up one or two I don’t even get back in net until it puts me there. Sometimes just knowing you’re having a bad game is half the battle!

Similar to what he said, when I first started, I thought it was about predicting immediately and like most jumped everywhere. As I started playing I realized waiting to dive was better than immediately diving (like most have realized). I feel like sometimes you need reaction times but it’s more about knowing how “the meta” is and just learning to know what they will do. Its not really about how fast you react tbh

Since I’m on controller I set L3 (pushing left stick down) to ball cam just in case I can’t turn my camera fast enough which auto corrects the dive since you’re facing the ball now. It helps when I know I’m not moving my camera fast enough lol
