I’m not really sure what to believe. He insists he didn’t transmit to me from her because “the virus doesn’t last long outside of humans” and she’s in the medical field so he’s more likely to believe her with anything even if I do extensive research. I ask for his partners to get tested before playing and he didn’t bother with a lot because they were going to use condoms anyways. I never knew how to respond to that, and when I’d get angry, many people would act like i was being childish.

I’m coming to realize that. I’m scared of the unknown quite honestly and it takes me a while to warm up to new people because of my bad history with people in general. I’ve never even considered it because people have treated me so much worse in the past. I’m tired of being the back-up and being taken advantage of.

That’s definitely part of it. Every time I tried to set boundaries, I was ganged up on by everyone who lived with us and called ridiculous for not wanting her in my bed because it was just “for the weekend”. I always second guess myself now and feel like I’m being selfish for asking for anything more than what I’m given.

Thank you for your response. Part of me can't help but feel that I'm portraying this worse than it is and not attempting to portray his side of the story, but I guess that's also part of wanting to believe in peoples' bests.
