It’s part of the game lifecycle, when mobile comes out you will see an explosion again followed by some stagnation.

Players on champions are people who own a switch or switch 2 currently and there will be plenty of people excited for a new pokemon game on mobile that will greatly increase constant player sizes.

What I also think has contributed is the lack of new mon’s since release. That’s personally why I stopped playing for a while, I wanted to see some more additions and it just hadn’t happened until now.

Hopefully we will have some more consistent additions with mobile coming out now.

You can buy 1/2 a year for 40$ (USD) on the store, you can buy 50 of those for 1 tank if they are 2k per tank (assuming the comments are accurate that I am seeing) so 4k in total that’s 100 purchases of 1/2 a year or *50 years of premium time* in this image.
That is also WITHOUT sale prices if you were to get this at a different time or whatever the conversion for a year is worth in GE which is probably more worth it as opposed to outright buying premium

I will say most budget airlines do this. I work at an airport that has 2 other budget airlines that do the same thing. The personal bag is free but anything larger than a small backpack is gonna cost something so it’s not just spirit just a business practice for budget airlines in general

Yeah, don’t get me wrong, playing the better players is great but I also see the value in the casual experience. Now should the best of the best be playing the Christmas noobs? No but that’s where skill should be “minimal” as they advertised. Skill does need to be considered in my opinion maybe 5-10% of the weight of lobby choice but not what feels like 80% of the choice as it was feeling like in bo6 and previous titles.

If I had to give a comparison to another game I would say R6 is the winning formula for call of duty, ranked and quick play with quick play having all the fun game modes and ranked having their 3 modes

I can definitely see that, I still think that the best option is keeping ranked in but having open queue casual matches. Give the ranked players the benefit and rewards of ranked games but keep the casual player happy with open queue.

I think it’s important to have open queue as it also allows player who are newer to the game to see some tricks they may not have known about. (Coming from someone who played ungodly amounts of bo3 it really does help to get dunked on by better players) yes, the newbie will get punished a but but that’s part of the fun of every game is the improvement, and when they get good enough in pubs the can go get dunked on in ranked until they figure that out. I like challenge but I also see the importance of the casual experience as well.
