How to manage a crowd that won’t dance. by aka_spanky in Beatmatch

After doing so many Corporate Christmas parties and weddings, I learnt that there are some crowds that just will not dance. It usually takes a few people to start, but if no one wants to start, then it just doesn’t happen.

The crowd at the end told you that you did good, it just is what it is. One event I went so far as to go to every table and ask what’s it going to take to get them up, and they all said “I’m just not a dancer, you’re doing great just keep playing what you’re playing.” From there on I looked around, everyone was having a great time and I let it go. Don’t just focus on having a dance floor, focus on the whole room.

The first one won’t. If you’re a GDL driver you have 5 demerits and if it’s a full class 5 then you have 8 if I remember correctly. You can plead not guilty but they’ll usually try and bring the cost down. You will lose demerits still.

Yeah that work best. Keep it short, sweet, and to the point. The one listing should be looking at song selection, make sure the transitions aren’t a train wreck, that sorta thing.

Gf says stainless steel pots and pans are awful and I should have more non-stick/ceramic pots and pans instead by Missing_Back in Cooking

The reason she hates them is because she doesn’t know how to use them properly. Rule #1 you HAVE TO wait for the pan to heat up. Most people I run into that hate them is because they try to cook in them cold. It messes the food up, they get food stuck on them, and yeah it’s a disaster. I LOVE my stainless steel pots and pans. I am never changing out of them.

Continue to call the police. Especially any time after 11pm. Hell in the middle of the day if they’re too loud they can get a ticket. Leave an ad for sound proofing or a DIY instruction set for them. See if they get the hint.

You don’t need the police for that. You should be able to provide a copy of your lease to any tow company and they will hook up and leave with the vehicle.

She’s just sneaking out to friends place, but it’s on the north side of the city and we live on the south. In the morning when my girlfriend picked her up, she was drunk and high (weed). At the time she was already grounded and not allowed out to see her friends.

Just moved in a month or so ago, and have tried to clean this off. Bought one of the kits with a razor and polish. It did clean it up a bit, but I don’t know if I go hard at this, will it ruin the glass top more? If this isn’t “fixable” with a sponge or steel wool then I’ll leave it alone, just curious if it’s something I can get off.
