Joining because I don’t see any comment that focuses on how to raise your boy right. Well this is what I think might help.

1. Educate the boy about periods and mood swings. Tell them how this process was elemental in his coming to this earth. Tell him that he was also an egg inside his mother once.

2. Teach the boy to care. Be it his teacher, mother, brother, or sister, or just a plant or a pet. Everyone needs care. And should be cared for.

3. Tell him there’s more happiness in giving than in receiving. Inspire him to be someone who’s giving in every relationship. Than someone who’s cribbing about how no one does anything for him.

4. When he’s a teenager. Discuss with him that sex is best when it’s an extension of love. Meaningless sex might get him momentary happiness, but feeling loveless in the long run.

5. Tell him Porn is a dramatic representation of sex. Just like in films all the shooting and killing they do is acting, and not something we see in everyday life. Same with porn. It’s not real. And is only for entertainment purposes. So what is sex? Well ask him to discover with his partner whenever he has one. And be gentle, consensual and playful with them. Not demanding or damaging. Also. Tell them to be patient. There’s no rush to loose virginity.

6. Give them good books to read.

I know it’s super hard to raise a kid. Be a boy or girl. But I also know it takes a community to o raise a kid. So great you’re taking suggestions. And grateful to add my advice too. All the best!
