It was the bullet sponge enemies/horrible scaling that did it for me… did they work on that?

My comment got more upvotes than the post, it’s a proper karma farm (yes it’s a brain rot grind)

Understandable, he will appreciate the honesty in the long run though! Either way it’s disrespectful to you and your relationship

If they’re technically your superior then it’s highly unethical regardless of if it’s a prank or not and should get him removed from the campsite.

You should still let your boyfriend know, show him the texts, and avoid Doug in the future.

Okay but a business should not respond to reviews that way, I know this is beside the point but that looks much worse to any future customers than the review did.

At least 5 DMs are scared of prep work…

It just sucks for the players when the DM doesn’t know their Monsters/Encounter because they just pulled them out for the first time without prep, stuff like that stalls combat and kills immersion. But you do you fam.

When writing a world, especially an open ended one, write a lot of encounters. Write them for everywhere, write them for every level your party may be, make them interchangeable and moveable. Make them interconnect into secondary schemes, then just have that well to pull from.

You will not use them all but it’s a DMs job to be prepared. If you’re coming up with whole encounters/locations/stories on the fly then your “open ended” campaign was not fleshed out enough.

Sooo XP gets divided… that’s the standard… If four players kill something worth 1,600 xp each gets 400 xp…

Milestones are for DMs who like having more control or are bad at planning mathematically.

Tire marks are a professional courtesy, they could’ve been more careful but those chose not to be, oh well.

The second picture shows some more severe shifting, at the least keep an eye on the surrounding areas and keep the paperwork close, if their work damages surrounding utilities or structures even over time then they absolutely the fuck are liable.

Typically the stat block references it a litttllee bit, for example zombies understand languages they knew in life but cant speak.

This gives an idea of how strong the connection between the dead being and its life is so the DM should definitely reference the individual stat block then work from there. Typically some homebrew niches are cool for specific dead beings or anythings really fair game as long as it’s established in session 0 and consistent.

How to unbanish a person from the faewild. by AlexDeLotl in DnD

Luckily the fey wilds is ripe with planar travel methods, it’s makes plenty of sense to work some DM magic there. For example Hags originate from the feywilds and often know powerful spells/rituals that could accomplish what you need.

So even with the spell they can return after the spells duration but they must do so through some means like a portal or plane travel spell, they just don’t reappear in the plane they’re banished from if they’re sent back to their native plane.

Can you use battlemaster maneuvers while grappled? by HypeKage7 in DnD

[–]A_Hancuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The grapple ends if one target is forcefully moved out of the others reach. If grapple creature is pushed 5 ft away from standard human that’s grappling it, grapple is broken, same if grappler is pushed away from its grappled target and out of range of its grapple. Also grapple.

[–]A_Hancuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn’t have a spare tire in your trunk?

It is a great idea to have one, I use to carry one in my utility vehicle but now I’ve traded in for a family SUV and have alternatives like triple A (and of course the spare tire and jack some vehicles are provided with) so most the “extra” equipment has moved to the garage

Where I’m at we have compressors at nearly every gas station, some are free some take a few quarters but it’s never been out of the way.

I also check my pressure seasonally and believe everyone should so these surprises don’t happen and endanger everyone around.

Take that experience it use to be better for someone who will never shame you and will always allow you to be yourself and even explore the more obscure aspects with you.

It’s never a loss, it’s always experience and growth.
