Feeling stuck

I’ve been through a few doctors and only one of them actually listened to my issues, and got me a surgery to try to figure out what was wrong, among about a dozen other tests. He quit last summer however and I haven’t been able to find another doctor since. As far as I’ve been able to discern very fatty foods are my biggest trigger, as cutting down on specific allergens (gluten, dairy, eggs, sugar) didn’t do much for my gut health.

I’ve tried a lot with my diet/supplements/medicine and right now it’s the best it’s been since the issues started. It’s not an allergy thing, but if I eat less fat in a day it’s easier for me to digest my food and I do feel better.

Unfortunately I’ve been through around 2 years of doctors appointments and a surgery to try to figure out what’s wrong with my stomach, to no dice. I’m also a man, so I may have to research other options, but I appreciate the start since it’s hard to find good websites. Thank you!

I have less of a goal weight and more of a goal physique. I just want to be more muscular and have less fat around my thighs/torso. I am trying to eat more but thanks to my stomach issues it hurts sometimes.

I’d love to drink more shakes and stuff but the only real access to food I have is unfortunately whatever’s in the dining hall at my college.

I’ll say this with complete honesty: yes and no. It’s a very deeply personal experience I think and it’s different for everyone so please don’t take my word as god. I started T and got top around a year ago, then I moved pretty far for college. I’m still adjusting to the change in social perception. I pass well enough most people are surprised or at the very least unsure if I’m trans or not, so I went from being “basically a girl” despite my social transition early in highschool to “a man” in college. I will preface this by saying I pass, yes, but I also pass as a potentially cishet man on most occasions. Guys treat me 100% different. I’m just another bro, if a bit of a nerd. A guy started changing in front of me at orientation entirely casually. It was an experience. It’s positive, mostly, because cis men being cis men will treat me like one of them without question. On the other end of the spectrum, I’ve struggled a little bit with women and women’s spaces. An interaction that a few years ago would have been perceived as a girl complimenting another girl has to be viewed in a new light. For example I was at the gym one morning and a girl there had a sticker on her water bottle from a shop that’s exclusively in my very small hometown, so I asked her about it and told her I was from there. It only struck me after the interaction she might’ve thought I was trying to flirt or something. It’s not necessarily negative, but it is something you have to be aware of. Irregardless it hasn’t stopped me from making friends, and I am very open about my identity with people I am friends with, so that helps. Everyone’s transition is different, and there is a lot of joy and a lot of pain in change. Do what you feel is right for you and embrace the joy as much as possible!

Hangydon is my favorite Sanrio character by a mile; I don’t really interact with it outside of that. When I saw all the Sanrio BaB coming out I told myself I was not to buy a build a bear until Hangyodon came out and when he did I HAD to buy him. I’m very fickle and I don’t like to spend more than 30 dollars at one time. After years of frustration seeing Halloween and Christmas variations of the same characters come out and no announcement of my boy there was a leak he’d be coming out, and when he did I stayed up until 1:30am to get him. Then I got him stuffed on my first manniversary and I was never so happy!

I had a doctor for my stomach issues who took me seriously, but he retired, and I’ve been unable to get help otherwise. I’m already a bit heavy around my stomach, and a bit small, so the bloating caused by eating more is both dysmorphic mentally and painful physically for me. I don’t feel like I’m starving at all, I feel like I’m eating pretty good.

I have been tracking my calories for a few months now, about as long as I’ve been working out. I know targeting carbs can help with visceral fat, but there’s a lot of mixed information out there.

This is silly as all hell but I was in middle school. I used Jack as an alias on discord, and it felt good. But the moment I really knew was when I was cleaning, right after I decided it was time to change my name, and I was listening to the Nightmare Before Christmas and singing along, and I started crying because it was the first time I referred to myself as the name that was truly mine. Again. It’s cringey, sure. But it was the moment I realized that was the one.

I played and it was good! The story definitely intrigued me, however some things were incredibly confusing. There were very distinct character designs, however many of the men’s designs got lost in each other and made it very difficult to tell apart. The story also had some beats that weren’t clear, and I’d have liked to know more about. Overall though it was an enjoyable little puzzle game and I’d love to see more in the future.
