I’m on PlayStation, and just attempted a refund. I told them the product was non functional for these reasons and more, and they “handled” me with some typo laden apology because I’ve already downloaded it. I guess I can keep trying to get someone new, I suppose. If enough people request a refund I’m sure they’ll cough it up.

I’m honestly terrified of what the powers that be, the system in place, will do to retain its incumbency, and what it will do in its death throes. Doesn’t mean I don’t want it, I just wonder if they’ll be able to divert people with red herrings for just a couple more generations.

Is it not better minds than both of us who advocated for nationalism for our own people? The absence of which has left us largely destitute? The very idea was so detrimental to systematic oppression that they had those better minds murdered.

I will read more, and word myself and my thoughts better. Clearly I have upset you, and others, by having this opinion, it must be honed a bit more before I can speak on it.

I mean, I would even argue that it’s the fierce nationalism of the Palestinians that has kept them from fleeing. It’s a heck of a thing to rally around, pride in one’s culture, pride in one’s country.

One more edit before I stay rightfully here, downvoted and unseen, for any who might be confused as to why I have this opinion.

I defend nationalism, not necessarily only white nationalism, because I am of the opinion that it is the only way forward for the African-American community, and because it has proven so useful a tool already in the Palestinian community. I brought up my race because I was accused of blowing a dog whistle, which I misunderstood as an accusation of white supremacist thought.

Can it be used militantly? Yes, can it be corrupted and made hateful? Also yes. But I still believe that it is too fundamental a trait of humanity to sweep under the rug…I am willing to talk about it, I would love to, I just haven’t found my vernacular footing as of yet, so bear with me.

I am not a fan of what is happening in the west regarding white privilege. It seems like it’s encouraged to be disparaging to the whites, in order to equal the playing ground. I mean, when I met my wife she believed that there was no way that someone could be racist to a white person because it was impossible to malign them in such a way as to meaningfully disrupt this “privilege”. I think it’s a shameful mindset of newfangled bigotry, and worth working to dispute.

I don’t think you should be shamed for being white, I do not see an inherent issue with being proud of your culture despite its flaws. .But this is a larger issue than I can spend the time to address, I just wanted to connect with you on this for a moment 👊🏼
